"you're perfectly wrong for me"
izzy sat with heath on top of a grass-ridden hill, the moonlight reflecting in the lens of her glasses. her head was perched in his lap, his fingers running through the curls of her hair. in such a small, intimate moment no words need to be said. but regardless of that, heath decided to break the comfortable silence with words which, in the long run, probably should've stayed unspoken.
"i don't like sneaking around," he spoke into the night sky. "i want to be with you, iz. i don't care if it kills me, i'm going to be with you."
"heath.." she spoke softly, as if to not damage him. "you know we can't be seen together." it was true. if they went public about their relationship—which had been going on for three months already—chaos would erupt within the studio. within her family. ozzy wouldn't ever forgive her. a-troupe and b-troupe's rivalry was in its peak, there was no saying what would happen if a b-trouper and an a-trouper dated. the studio had been torn apart into two sides, a and b. there was enough of a scandal if an a-trouper and b-trouper were even seen together, let alone if they had been in a relationship. for three months.
"but i'm so sick of it," he groaned. "i hate the hiding. i just want to take you to the movies and on dates and shit, but we can't. it's so frustrating." his hand remained in their position, gently stroking her hair.
"but we can't be together."
"and that's why you're perfectly wrong for me, i guess."
"yeah. perfectly wrong."
