Finding My Person and My Reason

Chapter 1: Just gotta make it through the morning

Hi I'm Hope Lockens. I am 16 years old, an only child, I have no friends really. My parents aren't my biggest fans, but I can't blame them. They didn't want kids anyways. I was just a product of a broken condom. I attend Landfull highschool, where I am an outcast who gets picked on constantly for being a "nerd" by one person. The head b*tch, Victoria Green. She's dating the star player of the baseball team, Alexander Gray. He's very cute (I know cliche right nerd falling for the captain of the baseball team, but don't judge this is my story). Anyways, he probably doesn't even know me. I follow him on instagram, he is quite popular. He lives a couple houses down from mine, my parents work for his parents and are actually really good friends I think. I'm not sure because I am never allowed out or up stairs when people are over. My parents say I will just disappoint them and embarrass myself even more, so I just stay down stairs until they are gone.

My morning always starts off the same, mom banging on my door telling me to get up and make her and dad breakfast. Apparently this morning they have to leave early for a big meeting, so I hurry to get dressed ( White long sleeve top and black ripped jeans that have been patched, and my boots to top it off). Rushing upstairs and starting cooking. " Listen you pathetic thing for a daughter you will need to make yourself presentable tonight, the Gray's are coming over and bringing their sons and his girlfriend." my father tells me, great just great I think to myself. After I fix them breakfast I rush to the torture place I call school. I go to my locker to get my things then sneak into my first class math.

Math flies by for me sense I am actually pretty good at math, shocking I know right. Health is eh I sit in the back and just do my work. After a long hour of health it's finally lunch which I just so happen to have with Alexander and Victoria. Honestly I have no idea how they are even together, because they are total opposites. She is selfish,a bully and a spoiled brat. One time I saw her yelling at a 4 year old because the young girl accidentally spilt their kool aid on her white shirt. While Alexander loves kids, is kind hearted. Sometimes he volunteers at the orphanage where I go to help with the kids.

I go into the lunch room and get tripped by Victoria " watch where you are going loser, you almost fell on my new shoes" she yells at me. I quickly get up and run the other way. On my way out of the lunch room I bump into a wall.... Well what I thought was a wall. I looked up to see I ran into ALEXANDER! 

" I'm sorry I should've been watching where I was going, '' I whispered to him. 

He goes to reply, but gets interrupted by Victoria.

"Ugh not again you stupid slut, can you stop trying to throw yourself at my man".

I start to cry and run off before anything else can be said. I go to my favorite place, I run to the school library and sit down at the end of a ile. I pulled out my favorite book "It'' by Stephen King ''. I know not a romance book, why read romance when I know I will never truly experience it. While I was in there the bell rang singling lunch was over and it was my free period.

Nothing after lunch really happened so I rushed home and started cooking. My parents aren't home yet and I don't think I will see them until right before dinner. I cook fried chicken, mash potatoes, cream corn, green beans, biscuits, and I whip up some gravy to go with it. I go to my room once I am finished cooking to get ready. I put on a simple black dress with some black flats. I curl my hair some and head back upstairs and go into the kitchen. While I was getting ready my parents came home to get ready for tonight. The doorbell rings and I can hear my father greeting Mr.and Mrs. Gray into our home and my mom greeting Victoria and Alexander. 

This is my first chapter I know it kinda sucks, oh well get over it 😂.  Please no hate.
