Chapter 9:Will they like her enough to accept her??

*Alex point of view*

I wake up with my love in my arms, yes I know it's been a few days but I honestly love her. She looks so beautiful in her sleep, like she's at peace. A hair had fallen into her face so I pushed it back. She smiles and snuggles closer on my chest. This girl has no idea what she has over me. I really could spend the rest of my life with her.

I am pulled out of my thoughts when I feel her start to shake. Is she having a nightmare? (It's still super early in the morning) So I pull her closer and wrap both my arms around her. I also kissed her forehead. She starts to calm down, but she keeps a tight grip on my neck. I eventually fall back to sleep. I wake to her poking my cheek. "Good morning love, how long have you been up for?"

"Not long, just long enough for me to poke you, ummm you need to go before my mom wakes up." She tells me. Which I totally understand, since I need to be getting home anyways.

"I understand I should be heading home soon". I get up and start getting redressed. I turn and see her turn red and sorta frown. After I get all my things I start to head for the door I came through last night. I walk over and kiss her on the lips, she is frozen then it's like she is snapped into reality and kisses back full force. I break our kiss before it can turn into anything else.

"Love, I would love to kiss you all day, but I need to go. I will text you later".

I walk out the door and walk into my front to my dad yelling. "Where the h*ll have you been? Sleeping with that whore?" 

"She's not a whore and yes I was there and I am inviting her for dinner. Maybe once you get to know her you will change your mind."

And with that I walk away from him. How dare he call her that when she is far from it. She is so innocent. Why can't he just understand?

Me: Come over for dinner around 6:30?

Love💕: Sure, should I wear something fancy?

Me: Nope just a home dinner.

Yay! She's coming. I go and tell mom to make a little extra. I rush upstairs to get a shower. I waited and waited and waited, and finally it was time for her to come over. There was a knock on the door and I went to answer it after seeing her. I pull her to me and kiss her not caring who will see us.

"Thank you for coming and please understand my dad will probably be rude and what not. I will be here with you every step of the way. Also, can you sneak in tonight, after sleeping with you last night I don't think I can sleep without you."

" I understand the dad thing and will try not to let him affect me. The second thing I will see what I can do"

I grab her hand and lead her inside, mom greets her with a hug and how are you dear I am so glad you're here. I think mom already likes her. Dad just stares at her. I pull her to the dining room, mom brings in the food. As we were just sitting down about to pass around food the doorbell rings.

"I wonder who that can be?" dad says.

He gets up to answer the door and it's no other than Victoria. Great when I just wanted it to be us so that maybe dad will like her he ends up doing this crap. " HI everyone miss me, umm that's my seat." She says to Hope.

"Well now it's hers now that she's my girlfriend."

Mom gestures to another seat and scolds my dad for doing this. Dad picks on Hope and Victoria trying to make slide comments at Hope, to the point I couldn't take it any more and neither could my mom. All 3 of us get up from the table. I hear my mom tell Hope she is sorry for dad's actions and says she really likes Hope. She's glad I have Hope, and not Victoria and how she couldn't stand her either. At least we have one of my parents on my side. Hope "leaves" and I go to my room and change into some pj's and put on Dear John. I know it's girly but Hope likes that movie so why not. Hope sneaks in after my parents went to bed and I kiss her. We end up cuddling and just talking about everything until she doses off to sleep. I pull her onto my chest and cover us up. I wrap both arms around her making sure she feels safe and lightly kiss her lips then her head and tell her goodnight and that I love her. I know she can't hear it but still I do. With that I fall asleep. I wake up at midnight and quietly go downstairs to get a glass of water. My dad is in the kitchen just great. "Why is she so special, what does she have that Victoria does not have?" he asked me.

"She has everything that Victoria doesn't. She is kind, sweet, loving, so innocent, smart, funny, and caring. Dad, she's everything I have ever wanted. Please for once let me choose who I wanna spend my life with and that's final. I am choosing and you can be happy or not speak to me or her for the rest of your life."

On my way back upstairs I ran into mom, what is this family time at midnight.

"I want you to know that I am proud of you for sticking up for what you want. Also for sticking up for Hope she's a very special girl. Don't let anything come between y'all. Arguments will happen but that is for everyone who loves someone."

And with that she is gone. I walk back to my room to see Hope right where I left her. I crawl in beside her and she jumps up frightened. She longues to me and hugs me so tight. I pull her to my lap and cradle her. 

"What's wrong love?"

" I had a bad dream, I had a dream that you...(sniffles) you left me and didn't want me."

It's sad but cute that she had a bad dream about me, sad because she thought I would leave her. Cute because well she's cute and I like her hugging me.

"Shhh love it's all ok I just went downstairs to get some water, and guess what my mom loves you."

She just looks at me and I kiss her tears away and each cheek, then her nose before I kiss her lips. I pull back and look deeply in her eyes.

"And I love you, I know it might be too early to say that so you don't have to say anything back. I love everything about you. Your smile, the way you sparkle, how you love to read, you help others before yourself, how you can never hurt a fly, and how you make me feel inside when I am near you. I could spend the rest of my life with you, you make me feel alive."

After that she just stares at me....ughhhh I knew it was to early say all that I probably freaked her out. But to my surprise I hear her say 3 little words back.

"I love you"

She loves me, she really does.

"Say it again"

"I LOVE YOU ALEXANDER"

She just made my night. I pull her into a deep passionate kiss. She kisses back with just an amount of passion. We pull apart and I lay her back onto my chest and wrap my arms around her and play/ massage her hair and head. I hear light snores and kiss her head. She is amazing.

"I love you goodnight baby doll sleep good, no more nightmares tonight"

Ok I really did think she was sleeping but again she surprises me.

"I love you Alex, I try not to. With you here you can fight them away."

With that I hear light snores again and I kiss her head one more time and turn off the TV. I snuggle her even more, readjusting her so her head is laying at my neck/shoulder. This is the perfect life I got my girl and my mom approves. Screw my dad, he doesn't know what he is missing. Because she is already my world. After that I fall deeply asleep, with my love in my arms knowing I am fighting away her nightmares.
