It was a few hours later when the trio finally left the house, arriving at the trail only about 15 minutes later. Dream was confident, at ;east he wasn't alone with George. The three made their way onto the path and started walking. They stopped every few minutes to take pictures and take in the scenery. They got about a half hour in until Sapnap's phone buzzed, and when he looked down, he got a worried expression.

"Ah shit that's today-" Sapnap turned to the other two. "I totally forgot I had a meeting. I gotta go-"

George and Dream eyed Sapnap, who just laughed nervously.

"I won't ruin the hike, just text me when you need a ride and I'll pick you up-" Sapnap tried to reason with the two, being greeted with annoyed looks. "And I guess I'll get dinner-"

The two looked at each other before looking back at Sapnap.

"Fine. But I want McDonalds." George said as he crossed his arms. Dream nodded along and Sapnap just scoffed.

"Okay, Okay. I'll see you later then-" Sapnap started running back in the direction they came from, leaving the two alone.

The two looked at each other before laughing.

"I don't get how that man can function sometimes." Dream laughed, continuing down the path.

"Yeah, but we get free dinner out of it though so maybe it's not so bad." George looked ahead, squinting. "Is that a river?"

"I think so. C'mon let's get a closer look." Dream started walking towards the flowing water, and upon further inspection, it classified more as a stream than a river.

"That's kinda disappointing. Maybe if we follow it we could find some waterfall-like thing." George turned to Dream, who was looking around.

"Hmm.. Alright, why not?" Dream laughs softly, starting to guide them down alongside the stream.

The two walked quietly for a few moments, just admiring their surroundings until George spoke up.

"It's cool out here, but Minecraft does it better." George looked up at Dream, who laughed.

"This seed sucks. No lava pools anywhere." Dream looked around dramatically.

The duo walked for a bit more, noticing the stream getting to more of a river, that ultimately led them to a small lake of sorts. George looked across the body of water before nodding.

"Pretty nice actually. Not what we were looking for, but I'm pleased anyways." The two exchanged looks. "I wonder how many people know about this place.."

"Well.. considering the lack of litter, probably not many." Dream rubbed the back of his head, chuckling softly.

George walked closer to the water, finding a relatively smooth rock and skipping it along the water. Dream watched it closely, entranced by it.

"This place really is secluded isn't it? No one is around for miles probably." George turned to Dream, smiling.

Dream narrowed his eyes, looking at the brunette. "That sounds really creepy. You gonna murder me now?" He laughed softly.

"No. I'm not." George laughed before sitting on a log near the edge of the water. "I'm just saying that it's nice out here. Away from everything. From stan twitter."

Dream sat next to George with a scoff. "You're so dumb."

"Well if I'm dumb that makes you dumber for hanging out with me." George looked up to Dream, who rolled his eyes.

"Yeah it does." He laughed, looking down at George, maintaining eye contact for exactly 2 seconds before George looked away quickly to the edge of the woods.
