Hard Goodbyes

The two went home that night to a silent household. They retreated back to their rooms for the night.

The following weeks were more or less the same. The three would film some videos, hang out for a while, and generally just enjoy their times together. But time tends to move faster when you don't want things to end, and soon enough, the day George was scheduled to leave was right around the corner. They had only a few more days to spend together as a group. The three wanted to hang out with each other without cameras for the last few days, so they planned on going to a park together.

Dream walked out to the kitchen the morning of, noticing George on the couch. "I'm surprised you're up before me."

George was a bit startled, sitting up to look at Dream with a glare. "Yeah well I just got my sleep schedule fixed just for it to be messed up when I go back to Britain." He lied back down on the couch to continue scrolling through his phone. "Besides, I'm usually up before you anyways."

Dream scoffed, grinning as he walked over to sit next to George. "That's 'cause you're nine hours ahead of me. But then again, you can't wake up before me if I don't go to sleep at all." He tapped his temple in a 'smart guy' way.

George just laughed and pushed Dream away.

"You know that's not healthy for you." George scooted a bit closer to Dream.

"Psh. What are you, my mom?" Dream put his arm around George's shoulder, looking down to his phone in his hands. "Whatcha looking at?"

George turned his phone so Dream could see he was on twitter, looking at a tweet Tommy had just posted, which was something about how much he liked women.

"Yeah, sounds about right." Dream laughed.

George scrolled to the comments, where Tubbo had commented with a "🙏". The two continued scrolling through Twitter for a bit until Sapnap walked in, looking over.

"Oh. Morning." Sapnap got a glass of water before walking to the couch. "I'm gonna pass on the park today, I'm feeling a bit sick."

The two boo-ed Sapnap before he put his hands up in defeat.

"I know, I know, I'll make it up to you guys."

"Fine, go rest then you big baby." George looked back to his phone after grinning at Sapnap.

Sapnap just rolled his eyes and walked back to his room.

Dream turned to George.

"You still wanna go to the park? Could just be us."

George thought for a moment before shrugging. "Alright, sounds good."

About an hour later, the two were up and leaving the house. They got into Dream's car once more and started their journey to the park.

"It's gonna be so strange with you not around anymore when you leave." Dream looked over at George briefly.

"It's gonna be weird not being here." George laughed, dangling his arm outside the open window.

They went a bit quiet for the remainder of the short drive, aside from the occasional joke about things they passed. Once they got to the park, the two got out and looked around.

"I actually don't think I've been here." Dream closed the car door, walking forward.

"First time for both of us then." George laughed, walking up to a path that went up past a playground and into the forest that surrounded the entire park. The two began walking, practically hiding their faces as they passed the playground to avoid being seen. Once they reached the more forest-y area, they slowed down their pace, enjoying the scenery.
