Mavis haven't woke up yet but it's normal considering her condition.
Lisa happened to convince Irene rest in her house even for just a day and assured her that she will take care of Mavis and will call her if something came up. Irene doesn't have a choice but to say yes because Lisa is really persistent.
Chaeyoung and Suzy stayed with Lisa that day because they have had a very long rest the other day while the other girls came to Irene to rest as well, especially the twins.
It was a peaceful day for Lisa and she can't help but smile while caressing her daughter's hair. Finally, she can say that she's home. She just hopes that she won't have a nightmare everytime she will close her eyes or will have a sudden outrage and get mad or upset for some reason. She don't want to be a burden to them, she don't want to add another drama in their life.
"You should sleep," Suzy said to Lisa after fixing Chaeyoung's blanket over her body. The Aussie is already fast asleep.
"I'm fine, thanks. You should sleep now." Lisa said with a gentle smile.
"Nah, I promised Irene I will look after you, it's bad to your health to sleep late or not sleep at all."
"I promise I'm fine, I'm not yet sleepy and it'll be bad if I force myself to sleep, right?"
Suzy purse her lips, thinking. "Coffee?"
Lisa smiled. "Chocolate milk drink will do."
"Coming right up." Suzy said and get her coat to look for the requested drink in the cafeteria or vending machine. It's late, it's not safe to roam around the street.
Lisa didn't receive any single message from Irene after the older woman told her that she's home earlier, maybe she's really tired and fall into a deep slumber right away which Lisa understands.
"Hey baby," Lisa face her daughter. "Heal faster, I wanna make it up to you for everything that you've heard. I'm really sorry." She kissed Mavis' forehead and continue to caress her hair.
The next day, Irene and Jennie arrived while Chaeyoung and Suzy went home.
Irene set the food she make so they can eat. She feeds Lisa like she's always doing before and the latter is so happy about it.
"Come with Jennie to go home, you should take a proper rest too." Irene told her after putting food in Lisa's mouth.
"No," Lisa shook her head. "I wanna stay here."
"Lisa, you're not - "
"Let her, unnie, she wants to spend time with you and Mavis," Jennie intervene while also eating at the couch.
Lisa smiled cheekily to Irene which causes the latter to roll her eyes.
"You got your ex to back you up, huh?" She said and the two just laugh at it.
After lunch, Jennie went home taking the tupperwares and utensils they used.
Irene was fixing Mavis' blanket when she felt arms snaking around her waist from behind which makes her smile. Lisa rests her chin above Irene's shoulder and the latter reach up for her cheek to caress it.
"Why?" She asked while smiling contentedly.
"I missed you." Lisa whispered and if not to their close proximity, Irene won't hear it.
"I missed you too, Lisa, so much." Irene said and turn around to wrap her arms around Lisa's neck. "Once Mavis got discharged, we will start over again, okay?" She said sweetly.
