"Mommy's gonna be okay, you stay with Aunties, alright?" Irene assured her crying daughter who badly wants to go with her the moment she lies down on the hospital bed.
"Mommy Hyun," Mavis keeps on reaching for her using her small hand while she's in Chaeyoung's arms while the latter keeps on wiping her sweats and tears.
The nurse closed the curtain to start to treat Irene which made Mavis cry even louder.
"Baby, mommy's gonna be okay, you need to stop crying because patients will get mad at you," Chaeyoung told her softly.
"Let's go outside, we're disturbing them," Jennie said and walk while holding Mini's hand.
Jisoo followed with Gem and Chaeyoung started walking too.
When they're already outside, Mavis stops crying and just sobs on Chaeyoung's shoulder while pouting. Jennie and Jisoo sat on a bench with the twins while Chaeyoung walks towards the flowers to try to entertain Mavis.
After some time, the kid falls asleep so Chaeyoung came back to them.
"Where's Jisoo unnie?" She asked when she only saw Jennie and the twins who are eating chips.
"She checks if unnie's already done," Jennie answered the same time that Jisoo and Irene walk outside the hospital. "Oh, they're here."
The twins immediately run towards their mother's side and hug her like they didn't see her for years.
"Hey, how's she?" Irene asked as she checks Mavis and kisses her forehead.
"She stops crying and falls asleep." Chaeyoung answered.
"Let's all go home so you can rest, unnie." Jennie said and they all agreed on that.
Irene let Chaeyoung carry Mavis since the doctor advised her not to carry something or use too much force for the meantime as her wound might open again.
When they arrived, Irene guided Chaeyoung towards her room to put Mavis to bed before they go back downstairs.
The twins are playing in the garden while Jisoo and Jennie are talking on the porch, looking over the kids too.
"Seriously, we need to get Lisa back as soon as possible." Irene started which made them look at her.
"Are you guys really pushing it? I swear, she's not our Lisa." Chaeyoung said while shaking her head.
"What are you saying?" Irene asked.
"Didn't you saw how she talks and acts earlier? She's not our Lisa!"
"She being rude and asshole?" Irene asked and Chaeyoung nods her head with a sigh. "She can't remember us, she's brainwashed, of course, she will act that way."
"Even if she lost her memories, her personality shouldn't change. What? After having amnesia, she'll lose her manners? Heck, and she's talkative as fvck."
Jennie giggles at that and shakes her head while Irene rolled her eyes.
"They erased her memories and replaced it with shits, she's our Lisa no matter what you'll say." Irene insisted.
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and look at the kids instead. "If that's what you want. But I won't join your craziness, look what happened to you. You're killing yourself for chasing someone that isn't Lisa."
Irene scoffed and walk inside the house. Jennie followed her leaving Jisoo and Chaeyoung.
"What are you afraid of?" Jisoo asked her. "Are you afraid of taking a risk?"
