Not answering the both you start eating your meals. It was really good, you've missed eating out like this. You enjoyed every bite of the delicious meal, clearing your plate as good as you could.
Loki finishes first, watching you eat until you were done. "Was it adequate to your taste?", he then asks. You just nod making him satisfied.
"Well then, do you might want to go on a short walk trough the garden?", he asks.
The flickering light of the candles made Loki look even more beautiful bringing out his dark circles and small blemishes. It made him more him.
You both stand up and go to the garden that was attached to the restaurant. Stunning flowers and fascinating sculptures are decorating the already amazing garden. The path was lit up with small lights placed a long the sides of it.
It was one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen.
Spying a bench you drag Loki towards it. The both of you sit down, looking right at the fullmoon shining down on you.
For the first time in years you feel your body relax. Calming down.
There was never really a time where you could just relax, there was always something on your mind, whether it was school, finding a place to work at, your dad, family, friends....
Noticing your very relaxed state, Loki glazed over at you a small grin on his face.
There wasn't really anything that had to be said. You just looked at each other in peace.
It was like you could finally let go of your past, the hurting and start a new life with new friends, new opportunities.
"Thank you.", you quietly say, mostly just for yourself.
"For what?", Loki answers.
"This, all of this.Accepting me for who I am."
You turn your body towards Loki, which is now sitting in crossed-legged.
You lean your head against his shoulder, him laying his arm around you.
If you could, you would have freezed time. Let this moment last forever. For once you've felt at home, safe in a persons arms that seemed to feel the same.
"There is something I can tell you. My dad also really wasn't the best to me throughout my life. Lying, hiding and betraying me. Always in favor of my brother.", Loki says in a low, almost raspy voice. "The only really good thing I had was my mother."
You can feel his body tense up at the mention of his family. It must be a very touchy subject for the raven boy.
"Well I'm here now.",you say, trying to reassure him of better times coming. Loki lays his head on top of yours and let's out a deep sigh.
