Chapter 19

Waking up, you here noises coming from outside, you also notice that Loki is gone.

Looking outside, you see said man training outside, aggressively punching the air. He is completely concentrated.

Smiling, you go ahead and get dressed to join Loki outside to train.

Sneaking up to him, he doesn't notice your presence.

"Boo!", you surprise your partner who punches your way in shock. Dodging the punch, you laugh.

"Don't do that, I could've hurt you...", Loki whines and brings you into a hug. When breaking it apart, he notices that you're wearing your suit, meaning you were ready to train.

"Ok, we have a lot to go trough...first of all, let's see if you can control it at all. Try to bring it to your fingers, play with the magic.", Loki instructs you, "What could possibly go wrong."

Smiling, you start to concentrate on your power inside you, feeling tingles coming back to your hand. Closing your eyes, you channel that energy even more until you feel your entire arm burning up with it.

Opening your eyes, you see that both of your arms are glowing.

"Good. Now try to make some sort of bubble, or any other shape. Just try to attack that tree over there.", Loki reassures you of your actions.

Nodding you start to form a circle in front of you, the size of your entire body. Shooting it forward, you watch as the tree falls to the ground, completely burned up.

Starting to laugh from your excitement, you don't notice even more energy building up.Trying to do the same again, your body gets overwhelmed with the amount of power coming from you. A stinging pain comes up inside you,making you scream out loud, releasing the unhinged energy out of you.

"Shhh, calm down.",says Loki as he comes towards you but your pain only get higher.

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO.", you scream, your sight turns blue again.

"Y/N, you need to stop. You don't have yourself under control."

Anger building up even more, you push Loki away. "I don't want to hurt you, hide.", you say in pain.

Loki immediately starts running into your cabin, not saying a word.

Falling to your knees, you let out another, even louder scream before collapsing. As your body looses it's consciousness, only Lokis running is to be heard,everything else is simply fading in the background.

Could it be, that all of this is too much for you? That you couldn't handle being with a god,now having powers of your own? Were all of the people right in your life, that you were useless?

A green shimmer wakes you up, now you're laying on your couch. Everything still feels numb,only the sound of crying is heard. When slowly turning your head towards the sound, all you can see is Loki, sitting next to you,covered in blankets. As he sees that you're awake, he wipes his tears and focuses on you instead.

"Hello princess.", he states in a calm voice. A small smile on his face indicates that he wants to make sure you didn't worry but you know it is fake.

"What was that. Outside,what happened to me?", you ask, making sure to not break the eyecontact between the two of you. 

"Your body couldn't take your energy, you had no control anymore. It was scary seeing you like this.", he answers, tears building up in his eyes again, "This is all my fault. I never should have made you use your powers."

You start to laugh, Loki seems surprised at your reaction.

"I am going to learn to control it. It's fine. As you said, if we go down, we go down together.", you answer him, caressing his cheek in the meantime.

"I don't think you understand my dear. That power inside you is older then Odin, it's ancient. Releasing it into your body and trying to control it will only harm you."

"Ok then I'll get hurt but I will not stop to try."

Looking at him with a soothing emotion on your face, Loki knows he has to give up and help you. You weren't going to stop trying until you mastered your power.

"Let's train again.",you state and stand up. Looking outside, you see that it is still bright outside.

Sighing Loki joins you.When meeting outside, you make sure to keep distance from him, in case something happens again.

Closing your eyes once more, you start to channel yourself. Creating power, you feel your body tense up.

Opening your eyes, you see Loki standing right in front of you but something is off. Punching right trough him, you see the copy of him disappear.

Smirking Loki comes up behind you. "You can distinguish them?", he sneers.

"Indeed.", you answer and let your power flow to your fist again.

Staring at your partner,you start attacking him. The sudden attack lets you see fear in Lokis eyes for the first time. You know he is weaker then you in terms of magic but he is more trained. So the best way to get your skills set up is training against him.

Dodging most of your attacks, Loki seems unimpressed until you come up behind him and punch him right in his back. Falling forwards, Loki looks up at you.

"In Asgard you'd be thrown into prison or you'd be a gladiator.", he laughs, taking your hand that you offer him.

You start to smirk as Loki only now notices he has fallen into your trap. Lifting him up, you immediately punch him back down into the ground, making the stoneshatter underneath.

Kneeling besides him, youlook him dead in the eye. "See I told you I will control it.And there I thought you'd be smarter then this. Fooled by your own lover. So weak. I'll take this as revenge for letting me think you hate me.",you say as you show him your glowing hands.

Starting to laugh, Loki looks at you with heart eyes. "My my, I really do love you my dear.", he says, then pulls you into a kiss.

Breaking the kiss, you smile at him, now actually helping him stand up. 

"Two more days and you'll be stronger then I ever was. I don't know if I like this version of you yet.", Loki says as you head back inside. 

"Because I am the strong one now? Someone having their complexes start coming up again?", you sneer as you close the door behind you.
