Chapter Five-

Ladies and gentlemen that was my mother. Most likely known as the biggest hypocrite to exist in the whole of existence.

"Don't do drugs" She said.

"Don't drink" She said.

"Don't get pregnant" She added.

Yet, when she was my age she did all of those things. I being the child she conceived- only when she was engaged to my dad. But it still counts.

My mum parked in the driveway, just beside the garage still locked under a heavy padlock, and she casually jumped from the drivers seat onto the pebbled pathway, gently closing the car door and whistling to the front door. I sighed heavily, still sitting in the passengers seat. I was too deep in thought to notice almost ten minuets had passed by. I was mentally comparing my life to those i saw at school. They all seemed to have the one thing i craved the most in all my heart and soul... freedom. I was just a goody-too-shoes that had to do what daddy said.

I groaned stepping out from the high seat of the Land Rover, landing onto the path and instantly feeling the warmth of the car go cold at the eery breeze tangling my hair. I placed my bag over my shoulder, slamming the door shut hard letting out my anger. The car shook on it's wheels but no damage was done thankfully. I sighed again, turning on my heels to make my way towards the door, but a familiar car caught my eye. A red Audi R4 sat comfortably on the opposite side of the road, parked in front of the opposite house a little larger than my current one. I recognised the car. I recognised the slightly tinted windows and the black rimmed wheels that were polished to perfection.. i just couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I continued to gaze at the car, cocking my head to the side and examining it from afar. Just as the memory balanced on the tip of my tongue, the front door to the opposite house opened and two voices of different genders exchanged laughs. I retaliated by crouching to the ground, hiding behind a hedge by the Land Rover, and peaking through small gaps in the autumn leaves and crunching twigs. I stared at a blond figure that came skipping in my direction, i thought my cover was blown. But she didn't blink to my whereabouts, she just smirked on her way to the Audi, her fake chest moving up and down fakely to the rhythm of her footsteps. I felt sick.

A leaf was blocking my sighting to the male figure, but from what i could make out there was smoke rising from his mouth and a slight spring in his step as he practically followed the half naked barbie to the car.

She leant seductively on the bonnet of his car, pushing her chest out as he eventually came into my sight. It was Zayn.

He lent between her thighs, gripping her hips with a cigarette in his fingers while they exchanged DNA. She gripped his hair, moaning just at the slight intimate moment they were having on the street outside my home. My eyebrows instantly knotted together as they pulled apart, his smile unconvincing as she wrapped her legs around his back. "I'll miss you." She whispered. Her voice squeaky even under a hushed tone.

"You too. Go inside." He forced himself from her grasp and walked around to the drivers door while puffing away on his nicotine stick.

"But Zaynie.." She whined walking to his side and sliding her hand up and down his back. Zayn continued to inhale the tar and rummage through his pockets as fast as he could for his car keys.

"Just go, Alicia!" He spat through the cigarette and she was taken aback at the anger and harshness in his tone i still felt to be terrifying. She kind of pouted to the ground, faking to be on the edge of tears and he glanced up to the sky as if praying for a God, before cupping her face in his hands and forcing her to look at him. "Go, babe. I'll see you in school." With that she nodded as he gently kissed her for-head before happily skipping back inside. Zayn sighed relieved, i couldn't help but feel for the guy. He was stuck with a plastic.

He turned back to his car, his back facing me, and he continued to smoke while leaning on the roof of the car. His next action struck me. "So, your not even going to say hi now?" He said. I froze. I froze on the spot, still crouching down and watching the figure talk to maybe a possible bystander. He couldn't of seen me? He laughed. "Now, why don't you stop pretending you're not there, and face me!" He turned around and harshly fell back onto his car, truth be told, he was staring right at me. I gulped harshly as i only just managed to bring myself to the soles of my feet as my knees trembled with the fear i had been holding in since the confrontation at lunch. I walked from the hedge into plain sight, thankfully the wall was in-between us, blocking his path to me. "It's not nice to eavesdrop, Orla." He smirked throwing his tab to the ground and grinding out the remaining tar.

"It's not nice to shout at girls." I snapped back immediately realising i had once again crossed the line, his face dropped as he pushed himself from the car and slowly approaching me across the road, ignoring the chance to check for traffic.

"It's not nice not being nice." He raised an eyebrow leaning the front of his body weight onto the wall, inching closer to me.

"You should take note of your own advice, Mr.Malik." I said adjusting the strap on my shoulder and turning on my heels. As i did so, i felt a hand grab my wrist, and force me back to the old position. Zayn had jumped over the wall, and was now gripping my wrist as he pulled me closer, leaving me to do the stepping while he watched my every twitch in my eyes that signified my fear.

"Why didn't you accept the offer, Orla?" He asked staring into my eyes intensely.

"What offer?" I answered seconds after.

"You know what offer." He pushed for an answer using his eyes that glowed a honey brown in the autumn sunlight, his jaw clenched as he patiently waited for a response, only the patience was deteriorating the longer we stood there.

"You offered, i declined. That's business for you." I attempted to rip my hand from his, but his grip only grew stronger. I could feel my bones gradually bruising on the inside, and the skin sinking in with his fingertips in charge, I winced as his glare grew more frustrated.

"Your loss, babe. Just consider yourself lucky for now but.. i'm not done with you yet." Zayn gritted his teeth throwing my arm down, i quickly cupped my wrist in my other hand, soothing it in circular motions. Zayn exhaled, turning around sharply and jumping over the wall in direction to his car.

"H-how did you know i was there?" I yelled uncontrollably, i should of been happy he was leaving. Why was i questioning this guy? Zayn hesitantly turned back to me, his features slightly softer but his gaze still intense.

"Nothing goes unnoticed by me." He winked shoving his key into the car door and turning it so the car doors opened. A loud click and he opened the door, "Nice house by the way." He smirked leaning in  to his seat, and slamming the door shut, shielding himself from the tinted glass. Seconds later, the engine fired up, and the familiar bass-line track began to vibrate the car as it sped off down the road.

It took me a while to realise i was blushing. My cheeks red raw, my spirits higher than they were minutes ago. I couldn't explain why. It was just one of those moments that made you smile for no apparent reason. He hardly complimented me. I mean, it was just a house.. maybe it was the fact he complimented something that was partly my possession. I don't even know.

Or maybe it was the fact he was intensely scary but so god damn sexy at the same time.
