That was when Roman finally looked over and noticed Virgil's appearance.
Virgil had short brown hair that faded into blond, he also had purple highlights in his hair. In his hair, he had a dark blue-green bow that he got from his niece, a red heart clip and a Lobit mask that his brother made for him. To go with the mask, he had a backpack and a pair of boots that were colored to match Lobit.
His eyes were a gorgeous warm brown color and had spiderweb highlights, along with that he also had scares on his face. He also had on a set of dangling muted purple earrings.
As for clothing he wore a light gray-brown turtle-neck with his classic black and purple hoodie over it. He also had a spiked choker on. He also had on a belt that attached not only to his waist but also to his thigh. Finally he had on blue cargo pants.
Virgil rubbed his hands, staring at the rings he was wearing. They were his engagement and wedding rings. His eyes had darted over to Roman's hands, noticing his similar wedding ring.
Just as Roman went to say something, Virgil stood up and started walking away. "Virgil, where are you going? Virgil!"
"I'm going back to the mind-scape, I'll uh, talk to you tomorrow," Virgil was then very quick to disappear from Roman's view and head back.

Virgil walked across the plank that connect two house's roofs. He had found River sitting on roof looking at the stars while they drank hot chocolate.
"What's up Riv?" Virgil asked as he sat down next to her.
"The stars, obviously..." She mumbled, giving the little sarcasm they had the energy for.
"You alright?"
"Shit, I don't know anymore. Everything feels so.. wrong," They slipped their hands into their hair as they talked.
"Hey, Hey, It's going to be okay. Maybe you just need a break. I know Secrets didn't like going back to Roseland but maybe you should go visit your friends in America," Virgil said as he tried to calm her down.
"No, no, I can't leave. I'll be fine here, even if I am getting kinda lonely..."
"I get it, I've been feeling sorta down lately too."
Tears had start rolling down River's face when she heard that, but she quickly wiped them away and looked at Virgil. "Why? I though you and my brother were supposed to be on a date or something. Did it not go well?" She asked worried.
"It wasn't a date first off, secondly I blew Roman off when I realized that we knew each other in life and that we would've married if we didn't die."
"Shit Virge," she wiped the tear that had welled in her eyes and hugged Virgil.
Virgil was quick to hug her back before tears started filling his eyes and pouring over. When that started, River started rubbing his back as he tucked his face into their sweater.
"It'll be alright dude, thing are going to work out, you have years to make things right. And I'll be here to help when you guys need it..." River breathed out as their thoughts wondered after.
"What if I never make up with him, I'm my own family's disappointment. I always screw things up," Virgil mumbled into the sweater as River continued to rub his back.
"I think you'll be alright Virgil, I can't speak for you're family but I can guarantee that you are loved here," River pulled out of their hug and wiped Virgil's tears, leaving her hands on the top part of Virgil's arms.
