as i walked down the streets while gazing at the wristwatch, his words came to my mind again.

“i bought this for you so that you don't lose the track of time. and, wherever you'll go, this watch will remind you of me. i know it's not precious neither a sweet present but i just wanted you to get help with this.” with that, he kissed my forehead, before letting me go.

his words gave me goosebumps as i never deserved his love in the first place. he never hesitated to show his love and affection, but here, me, i couldn't even confess to him about the truth.

i sighed and made my way towards the place where mr kim had asked me to appear.

a smile appeared on my face as i saw mr kim sitting at a table while waiting for me. his lips formed a curve while he looked at me.

“i'm sorry! you've to wait for me. ” i apologised as i took my seat on the chair in front of him.

“it's okay! You're just five minutes late. ” he chuckled, which was heavenly soothing to my ears.

“that must be too much for you. ” i, once again, apologised.

“nah nah! it's totally fine. i was admiring the beautiful sky when you weren't here and as now, you're here, i would admire you. ” he let out and giggled, which gave me thousand of butterflies inside my tummy as my cheek flushed at his statement.

we both laughed and enjoyed the happily but deep inside my heart, i was hurt as i was hurting a pure soul.

as we both were walking on a night, gloomy street at 10 in the night, i felt so delighted. his smile and everything was as perfect as it could be.

he slowly interweaved his hands with mine, locking up our fingers together. that was something that provided me nostalgic feelings but i just shrugged it off and enjoyed my moment with him.

he slowly squeezed my hand to get my attention, and he succeeded. a line smile formed on his face, which was too angelic.

“i really wanted to say something for so long and finally, i got the opportunity to do so. ” he said and halted at the spot, which tauten my heart till the core. i was expecting him to not say the word that i didn't want.

“i love you, hayoon! ” but, he did. he did confess to me, i didn't know what to reply to. i didn't want to say no because he was the one i needed.

“i-i do too. ” i hesitated but still, admited it out.

“what!? really? would you like to be my ladylove? ” the excitement was flowing in every word that came out of his lips.

“i'm sorry! ” i looked down as the atmosphere became tense.

“w-why? ” his voice broke while uttering.
