"why am i feeling so lonely, even though i'm in your arms? "
i looked at him weirdly as his question tensed me to the peak of mount everest. his face showed total innocence.

"what do you m-mean?" my voice stammered while questioning him back as i was the criminal.

"i don't know i feel like that. " he said as he shrugged off his shoulders.

"maybe i'm stressed because of the business trip that i had. " he chuckled out making my heart beat a little normal which was beating fast.

"hayoon~ i wanna take you out on a date to celebrate our third year of anniversary. " he said as the excitement took over him, making his smile more wider than ever.

"let's go tomorrow, hmmm? " he looked at me with pleading eyes, to which i once again bobbed my head.

this would be the last time i would be going on a date with him because after that, i would be confessing him about this truth which i had been concealing from him since a month.

the next day, as i woke up, i saw him making breakfast for us. he was just a boyfriend material but not for me. i wasn't the one for him.

after doing all my morning routine and eating my breakfast, i got ready to go to my office.

"don't forget to come early before the sun sets, we've a date, hmm! " i nodded to his statement as he kissed my cheeks before leaving for his office.

i sighed as i was left alone in a house, that we both decorated with a lotta of love and promises but i seemed like to be breaking everything.

i ignored mr kim the whole day in the office as i wasn't ready to face him. but, in the end of the day, i knew I had to confront him.

"did you confess him? " asked a deep voice from behind as i was leaving for my house. i turned around to get greeted by mr kim only.

"not yet, i'll do that today as i'm going out on a date with him. " i replied quickly as he sighed.

"i'm sorry for being the reason behind all this. " he apologised, which i found really a gentleman thing.

"you don't have to apologize. maybe he and i were never meant to be together. "
