the creaking sound of the door made wonwoo move a bit from his deep sleep. he reeks of alcohol from last night's party with friends. the blanket which covered him was pulled down slowly, revealing his unclothed upper body.

"d-daddy..."
"hmm?"

wonwoo, having the baddest headache for the first time again in his life, just tossed around and lied on his stomach. the small creature drags his feet closer to take a good look at the sleeping man's face. propping his cute hands on his cheek, he pouted with creased eyebrows. the boy rubbed his nose because of the strong smell his daddy was giving.

"daddy~"

he called again, but no response. a wicked smile crept on the boys face as he started pinching the older's nose. it was gentle at first but then he started to pinch it longer causing wonwoo to groan and wake up. the boy chuckled as his daddy catches up for air.

"you little.."

wonwoo sat up straight and scratched the back of his neck. the staring contest began. they be like giving the what-are-we-gonna-do now look at each other. While his daddy was putting on his shirt, the boy managed to speak.

"it's my first day in class."

wonwoo turned to look at him. being the father, he forgot this boy's important event of his life. he gave a small smile as he ruffled the boy's hair.

"don't worry. uncle lee will bring you to school."

he went on to the kitchen with the boy trailing behind.

"be careful on your way sir."

Sec. Lee, a man in his forties, bowed as the jet black car sped up leaving him and the small kid beside him. he was about to take a step when he noticed the boy's not moving an inch. he's eyes still glued on his daddy's car image from a far.

"let's go daehan ah."

inside the classroom were full of four year old cute kids. there's a total of five boys and five girls.

"okay, let's break a leg!"

come a woman in her late twenty's walking with the sweetest smile plastered on her face.

"gooooooood morning everyone!"

her cheerful tone turned the heads of the kids to her.

"i'm teacher hwan myung ja. but call me miss J. nice to meet you all!"

the parents clapped their hands and instructed the kids to do so. some obeyed and some did not. daehan being unaware of what's happening was noted on that. Sec. Lee placed a hand on his mouth, trying not to laugh. hwan myung ja? that's a very peculiar name, she's still young but her name is so...Miss J stopped Sec. Lee's train of thoughts by squinting her eyes on him which made the latter regain his composure. it was indeed a vintage name which causes a lot of stress to Myung Ja. she doesn't know what got into her grandma's mind when she named her like this. her name causes laughter everywhere she go. it's already the 20th century but her name couldn't keep up. Even so, her close friends call her "myung" which means brightness. living up to her name, she's really a bright girl...but with the "ja"? she can be fiery and feisty at times.

"daehan ah." Sec. Lee bent down to meet the boy's eye level. " i will be back after your class. teacher here will take care of you for the meantime."
