Bellamy left me breathless, the boy took a step away from me, unpinning me from the wall. I laugh to myself quietly and fix my hair.
"Whats funny?" Bell asks.
"Nothing." I laugh, "just, how easy that was."
"It could have been easier." Bellamy smirks.
"What does that even mean?"
"Interpret it however."
"No one can know about this Bell. Were on the edge of a war, i dont think it would be the best idea to start anything."
He nods and then a thought appears,
"Wait. So you would be open to start something. If the circumstances were different."
"That's not what i said." I laugh,
"Hmm, yeah it really is."
I laugh at the boy, turn on my heel and swiftly make my way back down the corridor. Three people were left in the throne room, Roan, Echo and some Azgeda soldier i couldnt remember the name of. Echo notices me enter the throne room and smiles,
"Ky!"
I smile at the woman, who says her goodbyes to the men and walks over to me in the doorway.
"Are you good? You look flushed?" The girl asks.
"Um, yeah. Im good." I wasn't good, i'd just remembered the bracelet in my pocket. I felt like i had cheated it. The bracelet was for Echo, but by being with Bellamy it messed me up. Bellamy was a friend, a good one. But with Echo it just felt right.
"Hey ky!" Echo waves her hands infront of my face.
"Huh, oh yeah, just zoned out. Sorry."Echo's face contorts, as if she wanted to ask me again if i was alright, but she refrains from it.
"Seriously, im fine." I laugh, "Just tired." I wasn't lying per say. I was tired, but i was mainly just about thinking something that i'd rather not be said out loud.
"We can go back to my place if you want? If you're really that tired."
I nod at the girl, "That'd be great thanks."
We make our way, slowly, almost at a plod, back to Azgeda. We don't ride, but lead our horses. The minute we got back to Echo's i collapse on the bed, and as soon as my head hits the pillow i fall asleep. Mainly out of stress. The only thing being; i forgot to take of my jacket, that had the bracelet in.

By the time i woke up it was dark outside, the duvet cover felt soft against my skin. That's when i noticed what i was wearing. I sat up quickly and cursed myself. I was in a sports bra and leggings and my jacket, which hopefully still had the bracelet in, was rested on the back of the chair in the corner. I pulled the covers back and slid out of the bed, pushing my arms over my bare stomach.
"What are you doing?" Echo calls from the corner, her voice startles me, "you look amazing."
"What?"
"Please don't cover your stomach. You don't need to."
I take an intake of breath and let out a harsh chuckle. I was 100% sure that Echo new it was fake but i carried on walking anyway. I feel the girls eyes follow me and at that point i knew she'd found it.
"When did you find it?"
"Last night. When you fell asleep. It was in your pocket."
"Im guessing you saw the note too?"
Echo nods and chuckles. I bite my lip to stop from talking,
"It's beautiful, what did you get it for?"
"Your birthday." I sigh heavily.
"When did you-?
"You told me once," I cut in, "i just thought it would be nice."
Echo's face softens,
"Thank you." She smiles taking the bracelet off me gently and placing it round her wrist.
"I can't do this anymore."
"Can't do what?"<>
What an awkward place to stop ey?
