Finding the Tesseract was easy enough. Put on a tracking system and use the energy readings from Loki's staff as a connection to it. With both Tony and Bruce working on it, they had it's whereabouts in minutes.
What they weren't counting on was an explosion to set them all on edge.

It seemed like no one minded that a literal child was in the middle of getting attacked whilst the entirety of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s so called 'Avengers' had arguments over Phase two. Okay, arguably, it was Banner getting pissed that Fury didn't trust him and a fear of the Hulk. Natasha was annoyed at Banner for being annoyed at Fury. Tony and Steve carried egos as big as their tits and really did look like they were about to start a fist fight.
Thor... well Thor was actually fine. He just talked with a loud volume, which is why it sounded like he was shouting.
This really doesn't help with Taeyong's current predicament because he was now showered with alarm systems and blaring red lights. "Jarvis? What's going on?" he called, getting out of the Labs and running into the main room. There was a lack of lights and ringing alarms, which helped calm him down immensely.
"There has been a sudden attack on the Tower. The men that Loki have entrapped are on the roof," Jarvis explained.
Taeyong's own harsh breathing completely juxtaposed the calm A.I. system. Taeyong had been in the Labs overlooking the tracking system that his dad had planted on the helicarrier. The firewalls were exceptionally hard to crack, but with Jarvis helping and Taeyong giving sme limited coding knowledge, they had managed to bypass the locks. Everything was at their disposal, including Phase Two. A nuclear deterrent created by the government.
That's when the connection that Taeyong had with his father cut off. The last CCTV footage that Taeyong had managed to pick up was from the Wishbone lab his da and the rest of the group had been in. Before it exploded of course. Watching the collision happening over CCTV and then having the Stark Tower alarms blair was quite a jump scare.
The young boy raced over to the giant window that made up the majority of wall space. This was a way for him to usually see his father come back from flying around the city and included a giant balcony area and platform to take off his suit. Instead, there were a couple of jets that landed in the balcony area. He couldn't see overhead, but with Jarvis's calls, there was a group on the rooftop.
"What are they doing?" Taeyong whispered, stepping away from the window space and hugging himself.
"It seems they are building a device on the roof. The Tesseract is also a main feature of this device. I am unable to wager a guess on the device's purpose, Taeyong."
Taeyong nodded at Jarvis. He flinched and hunched in on himself when he heard crashing coming from the upper levels. The men on the balcony looked through the window, but thankfully it was a one way type. Taeyong raced over to the locks and quickly scanned in his handprint, locking the windows and doors. He jumped when something heavy banged against the doors. "Okay, so maybe it's best to call dad right about now..."
"It seems Mr Stark is unavailable," Jarvis's voice resonated over the people attacking Taeyong's tower. "Taeyong, I believe they are trying to hack into my mainframe-"
"Then call Uncle Rhodey!" Taeyong screened, running aback around the living room and hiding under the bar cabinet. He threw all the alcohol away and crawled into the drawer space. "Have you called him yet, J? J? Jarvis?" Taeyong shakily called. Taeyong was enclosed in complete dark, simply waiting for Jarvis to reply back to him, but the A.I. never did.
