The Hulk was blasted from the Helicarrier and lying in an abandoned warehouse as Bruce. Thor had almost fallen to his death from the helicarrier, but was stuck in a field, getting ready for battle. Natasha managed to hit Clint hard enough for him to regain control of his senses. Whilst Tony and Steve mourned for the death of Phil Coulson in their own way.
Tony made it to the Stark Tower first; finding a device to bring in the Chitauri but also his son and best friend, ready to fight.
***
The device on the roof of Tony's Stark tower had just started to power up. A giant blue stream of pure energy shot into the sky with a blast of force shaking the very top of the building. Making Taeyong stumble into his dad's arms and Rhodey stare at the ceiling worriedly. "You're an engineer, that shouldn't make the building collapse right?"
Tony would have almost looked offended at his best friend's lack of faith in his architecture, if they didn't already have bigger things to worry about. "It's fine," the three of them looked out onto the platform, their gazes fixed on the blue rays that seemed to penetrate the clouds and upper atmosphere.
"R-right," Taeyong whispered. "Army."
Tony clicked his wrists together, allowing his thin bracelets clang together before a suit coiled around his body. "I've set up Jarvis," he placed a metal hand against his son's shoulder. "You go to the Labs and wreak havoc."
Taeyong wore an impossibly wide grin, before running off.
Rhodey looked at Tony with a mutual face of trust "We really doing this? Fighting weird demi-gods and alien army's?"
Tony grinned, "Would you have it any other way?" Tony was the first to jump off the platform, letting his repulsors pull him up and flying around New York. He was hit by the Chitauri hovercraft but managed to stabilize himself and release mini-missiles at the Chitauri, blowing them up.
The streets of Midtown Manhattan were more chaotic than it's usual over-populated self. Citizens had gotten out of their taxis and vehicles, looking towards the skies. More had run away as the Chitauri came towards them- blowing up cars, buildings, and the streets.
The Chitauri fired at a restaurant. A waitress and her other coworkers all ducked from the attack, trying their best to make it inside of the cafe to safety. The smell of blood and other bodily fluids immediately brought it self known within the streets. Fuels, ash and the burning of everything around them choked the otherwise already polluted area.
Loki had walked out on the pad, his armour materialising around him, whilst he watched the chaos unfold in front of him. The way taller buildings almost fell into heaps like their entire foundation were set on little wooden sticks. His eyes glowed a tremendous blue with each explosion and the screams of terror that reign in his very own parade of genocide.
Eventually the screams were whistled out with the deafening sounds of sirens. A symbol of hope and aid came in the forms of the police cars showing up. A police sergeant and younger police officer stepped out of their cars to look up and spot the chitauri. Their own bodies froze, wondering how in the world they were supposed to help. This was way out of their jurisdiction which usually only covered the prejudice of attacking young innocents.
Anyway!
The quinjet, piloted by Hawkeye flew toward Stark Tower, just a couple yards away from the blue stream opening the portal for the chitauri. Natasha had her radio on, catching a signal to Tony, "Stark, we're on a three heading to the North-East."
Tony, still flying around and attacking the aliens threatening his new home, scrunched his brows. "What, did you stop for drive-thrus? Swing that park, I'm gonna lay 'em out for you," he said. Rhodey was flying beside him, taking on his defense and covering his friend in all angles. Both Iron-man and War Machine worked in sync, flying over and under each other as repulsors fired and missiles launched into the chitauri and hoverboards they were using to fly everywhere.
