The Avengers all came together in order to save Midtown Manhattan from being completely run over by Loki's army; consisting of the Chitauri and the Leviathans. Tony and Rhodey take to the skies. Thor does his best to stop the portal via lightning. The Hulk has a blast smashing everything in his wake. Natasha and Cap take to the citizens and Hawkeye studies their patterns and strategizes.

Taeyong is the one to close the portal, in his own suit.

Taeyong let go of the scepter, falling back from a blast and groaning. Rhodey had managed to fly over and shut the portal himself. Taeyong looked back up at the portal, his eyes squinting through his tears. But then he saw it.

A figure falling from the sky, and he gave out a watery smile. "Dad?"

This was good. It had to be, but there was no response. Very quickly both Rhodey and Taeyong glanced at each other. Taeyong scrambled up and running to his uncle, "Dad?" he shouted.

"The power in his suit has run out, Sir," Jarvis informed.

Taeyong didn't even have to think before he ran to the edge of the roof and jumped off. His breath caught in his throat, whilst his suit powered up, mostly controlled by Jarvis. His mask slid close and with the zoom-in system, he could see his father easier. Tony was free falling right back onto Earth and if he didn't slow down, he'd crash.

There wasn't exactly the biggest chance that his suit would be able to break the fall. Maybe protect his body but that was pushing it. Taeyong got to his dad in record time and although he had grown in the past year, he wasn't entirely able to lift his own dad, even with the help of the suit.

So they both ended up crashing to the ground. Taeyong had managed to slow the fall as much as he could, but there were most definitely scraps all over both of their suits. Tony lay on the ground and Taeyong was only a few strides away. He shut his suit down, climbing out of it easily, whilst he ran back over to his dad's side.

"Taeyong," Rhodey called, holding onto the boy and panting. "Are you alright?"

Taeyong placed his hands over his dad's chest, peering over his face. "Jarvis? Take the mask off," he commanded. He watched his dad's mask pop open and fall away. Tony looked like he was sleeping.

"Who is-"

"Is the mortal man alright?"

Taeyong's hands moved over to his dad's arc reactor, where's power had completely drained. Almost nothing lighting up. He pulled his hand back and gave his dad a quick slap in the face, watching in amazement as Tony's eyes flew open.

"Ouch!"

"Dad!" Taeyong cried, eyes welling up with a fresh set of tears. Tony's eyes scrambled around before setting on his son and his suit opened up. He groaned but pulled Taeyong into his arms, holding the child tightly whilst he looked back up at his best friend and then the rest of the Avengers who had gathered around.

"Wow- what the hell? What just happened? Also, did you just slap me?" he let go of his son, holding an arm out for Rhodey to take. The colonel helped Tony sit up properly, whilst Taeyong continued crying.

"Sorry," the younger boy sniffed. "I panicked."

"We won," Steve smiled.

Tony gave a tired nod, pulling Taeyong into his chest again. The boy was very much happy to see the regular glowing of his dad's chest. "Alright, hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. You ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it."
