27 - The act of Locking up Loki

PREVIOUSLY ON: League of Superheroes

Steve meets with Banner and everyone sets to work, trying their best to find a radiation pull that will help them find the Tesseract. Some commotion stirs in trouble in Germany, causing Natasha, Steve and an eventual Tony Stark to come in to stop the fight. They capture Loki, until lightning and thunder crash their mission.

Literally, it's the introduction of Thor Odinson.

Thor and Loki both crash down into a cliff side, smashing the rocks into chunks of debris and dust following them. The thunder and lightning combo from Thor seems almost life-like, roaring in the rain and strict winds. Loki tumbles against his brother, trying to both get out of his grip and also navigate his way through the relentless pushing of the weather. Arguably, if he hadn't pissed his brother off this much, maybe he wouldn't be in this situation.

Loki groaned, falling into dirt once they had crashed into the bottom of their little, cliff tussle. Thor looked at him with disappointment and anger, as if he had caught his little brother stealing from a shop after school rather than watching his immortal, adoptive brother come back from seamlessly the 'dead.' "Well..." Loki spat into the dirt, picking himself up from the ground and grinning sinisterly at his older brother, "hello Brother."

"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor demanded.

Loki licked the inner lining of his teeth, grinning harder. "Oh-ho, I missed you too."

"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?"

Loki shrugged softly, dusty his palms of dirt and soot. "Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the All-Father have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth." Thor dropped his hammer, Mjolnir, pulling the edges of Loki's cloak and forcing him close.

"I thought you had died, Loki!" he hissed, anger seeping under his skin, Loki could almost feel the electricity snapping in the air.

"Did you mourn?" he asked, pushing Thor away.

"We all did. Our father-"

"Your father!" Loki shouted. He straightened himself and gulped, almost as if he were trying to change his demeanour. "He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?"

Thor furrowed his brows, "We were raised together,, played together-" at this Loki rolled his eyes -"We fought together-"

"That we did," Loki muttered under his breath, inspecting his sceptre quietly.

"-Do you remember none of that?"

Loki's eyes blazed a light, electric blue, making Thor take a step back. "I remember a shadow," Loki hissed. "Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I, who was and should, be king!"

Thor didn't know what to think, this wasn't the brother he knew or grew up with. Loki was not like this, not this much hatred. "So what then? You're imagining a world to rule and you take it out on Earth? No. The Earth is under my protection, Loki."

"Well..." Loki pursed his lips. "Yes."

"Then you know you can't rule, brother. You will never suit a throne."

Loki pushed past Thor in anger. Thor turned away, watching his brother walk around the forest they landed in. He didn't do anything, letting Loki seeth in anger at the truth. He would come around, he always did. Thor just needed to be careful and continue talking to his brother. "You don't get it Odinson." Loki bunched his hands into fists, "I've seen worlds you've never known about. I have grown, Odinson, in my exile. I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it-"
