My alarm blares at maximum volume waking me from my desired slumber. Anxiety courses through my veins at a quick pace.

I have class with Caelum first period.

I get out of bed and walk into my bathroom to relieve myself. I need to wash my face and brush my teeth.

God, I do not want to do my hair today.

I grab my comb and part my hair down the middle. I pull my brown hair up into a ponytail and tug out the front pieces to keep myself from looking like an egg.

Hey eggs are cool and all, but I do not want to look like Humpty Dumpty today.

I open the bathroom door to reveal my messy room, I'll clean it tonight. I don't work or anything so I'll have time to get it done later.

I grab my favorite baggy black jeans and pull them up to my waist. I reach for my black belt and pull it through the loops. I finish with my belt and open my drawers to find a tee shirt.

I think I'm feeling an all black outfit today.

Make that everyday if we are being honest with each other.

I grab my Harley Davidson tee and pull it over my head careful not to mess up my freshly done hair.

Reaching for my Vans I grab my socks and slip them on. My Vans follow in suit and I'm ready to get going. I reach for my book bag and pull it over my shoulder.

Its 6:45 a.m. Samaria should be here in five, I gotta go get the kids up.

I make my way down the hall and turn into Aldens room.

Amaris is not a morning person. Alden takes his time waking her up for me.

"Hey Alden, you gotta get up." I say with caution so I don't startle him out of sleep.

He opens his eyes and yawns.

"I know Buddy, It's a bit before 6:50 a.m. so you still have time to let your body wake up. You both need to be at the bus stop by 7:30 a.m. so wake your sister by 7."

He nods in agreement and smiles at me.

"Have a better day today Bud, I'll see you later." I kiss my fingers and brush them against his cheek softly.

I walk towards his door and out into the hallway. I leave the door slightly ajar and make my way downstairs.

I don't have time to pack my lunch.

I check the time on my phone.

*Sami "Hey babes, Im outside :)"*

Damnit, I guess I won't have lunch today. It's not like I need it anyway.

I walk to the door and grab the strap of my book bag to keep it secure on my shoulder as I open the front door and make my way to Samaria's car.

I pull the handle on the passengers side and toss my book bag on the floor.

"So! How'd last night go?" The expression on her face changes from excitement to worry.

"It was fine, just annoying. He tried offering me a ride home because I stayed late to help him with silverware. I told him off." The anger I felt last night resurfaces on my skin.

He pisses me off and he's not even here.

"Now Astra. Maybe he was just trying to be a gentlemen." Sami says wholeheartedly while pulling out of my driveway.

"Sami don't act like he's a good person or something. I get he's hot but he isn't kind nor is he a gentlemen." I state with irritation laced in my tone.
