Fluff! Diluc~ Tavern night

It was a busy day in the tavern on a Friday as Diluc, took a shift there today.

All-day you could hear laughs from the adventures and locals.

Cyrus leaned on a fellow adventurer with a cup of beer in his hand, voice bounced from the walls with his cheery tone.

Stanley, sitting at a table by himself, thinking.

As time passed, the clear voices slowly turned slurred as most are reaching their limit at the consumption of alcohol.

Diluc, stood quietly cleaning cups with a monotone look.

You have returned to Mondstadt after a day of wandering, picking of berries, and collecting fish.

You were tired after dropping what you have collected at your home. So you decided to stop by at Angel's Share for some drinks.

Once opening the door you saw the red-haired male behind the bar, still cleaning more cups.

You hummed to yourself as you approached him with a smile, "good evening."

He looked up and nodded with a slight smile. "Evening."

You took a seat on a stool in front of you and looked around. "It's packed in here... do you need any help?"

He shook his head, "I cannot allow you to help since you look a bit tired. You just relax."

You then quietly sigh and rested your arms on the table and placed your head on the palm of your hands. "I guess I'll have to keep you company like this, I prefer to help but you aren't allowing it..." you sigh again but louder.

Diluc raised an eyebrow at you. "If you insist on helping me so much, then be my guest." He looked back down to finish cleaning all the dishes.

You stood up with a smile and got behind the bar, stood beside Diluc and hummed a tune as you started cleaning the dishes as well.

To Diluc, you shockingly got them clean faster than expected. But you used the help of your vision to use water to wash off the soap.

Once completed, time went by fast as each customer left. You waved every one of them off and peeked out the door to be sure they have left safely and didn't bump into anything or so.

You even said goodbye to the employees as they left for the night.

It was just yourself and Diluc in the tavern. He was cleaning up the rest of the tables as you organized the silverware and cups that were cleaned and dried.

Once you were done you sat down at the stool once again waiting for Diluc to finish up.

It didn't take long for him to return from the second floor with his hands full. You stood up and grabbed some of the stuff in his hold. He nodded as a thank you.

You throw away the garbage and clean the extra dishes.

You both sat beside each other tired. It was silent and not too long after you hear a faint snore. Diluc dozed off. Guess he was tired out.

You drape his jacket over him like a blanket. Then quietly walked over to turn off some of the lights.

Once you returned to him, he was turned over and laying his head on top of his arms on the table.

You didn't wish to leave him alone so, you sat beside him and relaxed.

*~Time skip~*

You ended up dozing off and waking up in something much more comfortable than a chair. In fact, you were laying down.

Laying down in a bed? You sat up and looked around. This wasn't your home...

Then a soft knock came from the door, "y/n are you awake?" They sounded like Diluc.

"Uh... ahem yeah." Your voice was still tired after just now waking up. "May I come in?" He spoke again. "Ah, yes you can."

He gently opened the door with a soft smile. "Good morning, I apologize for the sudden location change. I woke up to you asleep beside me in the tavern so I took you to the winery since I'm unsure of where you live. I hope you're not bothered by that."

You quickly shook your head and raised your hands, "no please, it's alright! Thank you though..." you trailed off with a smile. "Oh! And good morning to you as well."

His smile grew as he nodded, "do you wish to join me for breakfast? You're welcome to if you would like."

You agreed to do so.

Both Diluc and yourself have enjoyed a peaceful yet warm breakfast together.
