On top of that you're part of the fatui.
(I was pushing this back since I was unsure if I liked this, it feels kinda cringe lolol. I got over it and decided to publish this. I'll fix the parts once I think of a better idea for some things in this!)

It was a cold night. You were attending to your duties with the fatui back in Liyue.

"Y/n, give me an update on your status." The head of the other squad spoke.

You held your arms behind you as you replied, "things are moving smoothly. Including with my place in Mondstadt. The common folk are clueless to who I am. I have even gotten close with the Dawn Winery owner."

The squad leader looked at you with a smirk growing on their face. "Well done, Dottore will be very pleased." He nodded as the words flowed out his mouth.

You appreciated the praises by him as you smiled.

Time passed after your conversation.

You sighed as you realized that you had to return to Mondstadt before daylight.

Lucky for you, there was an abyss herald at the station you're at.

"Hey." You approached the abyss herald quickly.

"Yes y/n? Is something the matter?" He turned his head to you. His headwear was off which showed his facial features. Grey skin with faintly glowing white and blue lines that were on his face. Goodness he looked much better than you expected. Of course in a good way.

You quickly cleared your throat before speaking once again.

"Could you help me get back to Mondstadt? I have to return before daylight." You glanced away from him briefly.

"Ah, of course it's my pleasure to help you." You smiled as he gathered his headwear, he then placed it on.

You kept your gaze away from his. Once he stated he was ready you both stepped outside the station.

He then opened a portal and held his hand out. "You go first." You nodded and stepped in.

It didn't take more than 3 minutes to reach Mondstadt. You weren't too far from the winery. But far enough to not be seen by anyone or anything.

You said your thanks and parted ways with him.

While approaching the winery, you fixed your attire as you straighten your clothing.

Once reaching the winery, you knocked on the door waiting for someone to open it. One of the maids opened the door and smiled once her eyes met yours.

"Hello y/n! I assume you're here to see master Diluc?" She tilted her head.

You nodded as a response. "Yes, I do apologize for appearing at a late hour though." You lightly rubbed the back of your shoulder.

"Oh please, you're always welcome here. Come in, he should be in his study finishing something." She opened the door more so you could step inside.

You thanked her and nodded as you headed towards Diluc's study.

You weren't sure if he fell asleep so you quietly opened the door and whispered out his name. "Diluc?"

You heard a hum and looked in the direction. There was the red haired male sitting in his chair.

You smiled brightly once seeing him and closed the door behind you. "Apologies for now appearing..."

He shook his head and looked at you with a slight smile. "Nothing to worry about. I assume you didn't encounter anything of a threat in the woods?"

You shook your head. "Not at all.  It was like a walk in the park." You laughed.

He chuckled and you then remembered something for him. "Ah! I forgot about this." You reached in your pouch at your side and took out something in a box."

Diluc raised an eyebrow at whats in your hand. "And that is..?"

You slightly lowered at his sitting height as you held the box in front of him with a smile. "For you, young master~" you mocked what the maids and butlers would usually call him.

He sighed as he stared at you.

"Come on now. You wouldn't want to refuse a gift from me? You know I worked hard to get th-" the box was then snatched out your hand and now in Diluc's.

"Oh stop it." He opened it and looked at what was inside for a few seconds.

You snuck up behind him peeping over his shoulder. "Sooo...?"

His eyes closed as he smiled. "Thank you y/n I appreciate it. Although you don't have to get me things this often." You leaned on the back of the chair and swayed side to side.

What you got him was a pendant that you crafted yourself. It's meant to be placed somewhere on his coat or shirt. Maybe even his tie who knows. Although you did have a bit of help from someone. Still! Most of it was by your hands.

"Of course I have to. I adore gifting you with things as often as possible. It makes me happy when you smi- ACK!" You were then pulled from behind the chair to onto his desk.

He grabbed your hand placed it on his cheek. Taking a few seconds of relaxing. Who knew someone with such an expressionless face could be affectionate out of nowhere. But you could never complain.

You glanced at the rest of his desk. Seemed that he finished his work.

You hopped off and tugged the red-head to follow you. He silently followed at you went to his room, of course you only intend to catch up on some sleep with him. He does look fairly tired.

Although you were positive you kept your things from the fatui back at the station. So no accident should occur.

You both crept into the bed once properly clothed in sleep attire. You held one another as you two drifted off into sleep.
