Angst+fluff! Beidou~ Tough day...

Your vision in this one-shot will be: HYDRO! So your vision works well with Beidou's! Also, I'm afraid you'll be a healer in this case.

It was a late night, sitting on the couch waiting for her to come home. You were sitting, reading a book, but you often take glances at the door and out the window to see if your girlfriend has returned.

You were slowly falling asleep until you were woken up but the front door opening loudly. Following with some grunts.

You quickly looked at the door and found Beidou, exhausted and looked roughed up.

You sprung from the couch and dashed towards her, holding her arm. "What the hell happened? Are you alright? Do I need to get the first aid? I could heal you too if you'd prefer that!" Your voice was full of worry.

Beidou breathed heavily as she nodded her head at you offering to heal her yourself.

You wrapped her arm around your shoulder and lead her to the couch where you sat her down and quickly grabbed a cloth to clean her up as well.

Once you returned you dampened the cloth with your hydro and placed your hand on her cheek. Softly rubbing it.

Beidou sat there quiet as she watched you clean up the blood.

She took in your warm touch, as she closed her eyes.

You thought she was about to pass out so you quickly grabbed her shoulders. She groaned and shook her head. "Just closing my eyes... I'm alright." She spoke weakly.

You sighed relieved. "Sweetheart what happened..." you asked again waiting for an answer.

She shook her head, "nothing. Just bad luck I guess. I guess the great captain Beidou of the Crux isn't as great as they all say."

Her words stung you with shock. Why is she suddenly speaking so low... especially towards herself...?

You stayed silent as you healed her up a bit, cleaning off more blood. You softly held her hand as a way to comfort her in any way.

Not too long after you heard a sniffle. You looked up quickly to see your girlfriend, tears forming, with a face full of defeat.

You dropped the cloth and held her face in your hands. "Hey hey hey... it's alright. I'm right here, let it out hun..." you stood up and sat beside her, she then leaned herself onto you. Quietly sobbing.

You softly rubbed her back and kissed her forehead. The Beidou everyone looks up to, is currently falling apart in your arms. It hurt to see her like this, ever.

Of course, everyone has their limit to handle such things. But Beidou has always been so, bright and bold that it would be a complete shock to anyone seeing her in such a torn state.

Although you have had her cry in your arms before, it still shocks you during moments like these. All you do is silently rub her back, hum a tune for her, or cook her favourite food.

You felt that this time she just needed you by her. Feeling her trembling body against you.

You held her tighter and softly hummed a tune. A song she would usually sing. A bit later, it seemed that the humming has helped since she wasn't shaking as much and the sniffles don't repeat so often.

"Hey," you gently patted her back waiting for a response. She looked up with her puffy eyes. "How about I run a bath? We can sit in the tub for a bit and relax."

Her eyes softened at the offer. "I'd appreciate that... thank you." You smiled and kissed her forehead.

You ran a bath and once it was ready, you came back to check on her. She was still sitting on the couch. But she was leaned back staring at the ceiling.

You softly spoke, "hey the bath is ready. Come on hun." You held your hand out.

She stood up with a slight stumble. You inched yourself closer to her before she grabbed your hand. Instead of you leading the way, you were yanked towards the bathroom.

-Slight time skip-

You were both in the tub and you were sitting across from one another. You had some small talk.

Instead of possibly making Beidou feel worse than before, you refrained from asking what caused this all to happen.

You were zoned out into your own world until you were snapped out. "Y/n?"

Your eyes locked with Beidou's when she called out your name. "Yes? What's up?" You smile.

She looked away with a slight tint of red covering her cheeks. "Would you like to uhm..." she cleared her throat "...sit here and lean on me? I want to hold you again."

Although you would feel very embarrassed leaned against her in the tub. You happily said yes, and slowly got to her side and leaned your back against her, trying to avoid spilling water out the tub.

In an instant, her arms were wrapped around you. You looked up to her and she looked back down with eyes full of happiness.

Your heart fluttered whenever she looked at you like that. You rested your head onto her collarbone and closed your eyes.

"I love you y/n. Thank you for being here with me." Beidou softly said. Her voice felt like a warm hug, just as warm as her current grasp around you.

Grabbing her hand, you kissed the back of it. "I love you too Beidou, I love being here with you."

For the rest of the night, the two of you stayed close to one another. Before you two went to bed, you cuddled while talking. Beidou ended up falling asleep feeling much better as you gave her tons of kisses.
