Fluff! Fischl~ Hilichurl camp

It was a beautiful and quiet day in Mondstadt. You had returned from Liyue and bumped into Fischl and Oz once entering the town.

You went out for the walk with Fischl and Oz after they suggested the idea.

The three of you spoke about your past interesting wanders and encounters with people. Fischl adores all your stories and always listens to every detail.

Her face covered with excitement is adorable. Both yourself and Oz always comment on how lovely it is seeing her this happy.

You told the two about the beautiful views in Liyue from the top of the mountains.

"Why don't we both go for a trip to Liyue? I'd love to see around the area for the first time! Of course, if you're alright with being my guide!" Fischl spoke happily.

Whenever alone with you and Oz, she always broke character and didn't use such big words. Which was easier for you since you couldn't always catch up to her big vocabulary.

You laugh and nodded. "I'd like to do that, I'm always happy to be your tour guide. Just to see that wonderful smile of yours. Isn't that right Oz?" You looked at the purple bird.

He then nodded, "of course, seeing the fair lady in such a way brings me happiness."

Fischl lightly blushed at the compliments and looked away. Both yourself and Oz laughed at how she acted. But in a friendly way of course.

Further into your walk, you sometimes pulled Fischl off to the bushes to watch the animals peacefully relax and interact with one another.

Your gaze drifted off to your further right and saw a hilichurl camp. They were all laying down and talking to one another. You smile at the sight and Fischl seemed to have taken notice. "Is everything alright?" She poked her head to your side.

You snapped out of the gaze and shook your head. "Nono, everything is alright. But... look over there," you pointed at the camp. "Don't they look so peaceful? I love watching them from afar. How they interact with one another is amazing. It almost reminds me of how we act!"

Fischl tilted her head not following. "What do you mean how we act?" You huff a laugh and gently grab her wrist bringing her closer to the camp. Oz following behind.

Once the two of you got closer. You pointed out the two hilichurls chasing one another playfully. Fischl looked surprised but amazed at the sight.

Then her expression droops quickly. You turn to look at her, "what's wrong?"

She shook her head. "They look so peaceful so... why do they fight us? Are we to blame for their disturbance? Are we a threat? I feel as if we're to blame for how they live..."

You were taken back by the words she said. Your eyes softened as you lightly patted her head. "Don't worry, they're just confused and attack first which is a normal instinct. But..." your hand moved to her cheek lightly tugging on it "we will gain peace with them. As a matter of fact, I and a little girl back in town have spoken to some of them before. They even give us gifts sometimes, it's heartwarming to know that there's progress."

Fischl looked lost at first but nodded. A smile crept onto her face as Oz landed on her shoulder. "I wish to watch them more, I enjoy the sight of them having fun."

You nodded, "alright but I have an idea. How about I take us somewhere higher up to get a better view. If you would prefer, I would use my vision to keep us more hidden so we wouldn't startle them."

"That's a perfect idea! Come on let's go, you lead the way."  You then lead the two quietly away from the camp.

After climbing a hill and aiding Fischl up by creating a lift out of vines. You found somewhere to sit near the edge them once again used your vision to make a bush type of coverage to avoid getting the attention of the hilichurls.

As time passed, Fischl still had her full attention watching the hilichurls. You laid down onto the grass with your hands behind your head.

While watching the clouds pass by you were distracted by the blonde girl laying beside you. Oz was doing the same as well. Not too long Fischl fell asleep facing you. Oz was still awake though.

You quietly asked him, "should we go back to town for her to properly sleep?"

He shook his head "it's alright. I believe she'll sleep quite well here." You nodded and smiled.

While asleep the blonde girl inched herself closer to you. Once she bumped into you, she rested her head on your shoulder.

You smiled and lightly patted her head as you slowly dozed off to sleep as well.

Leaving Oz choosing to watch over the two of you.

As the sky got darker and the wind blew rougher against the trees, you woke up.

Oz looking up to you, "glad to see you awake, have you rested well?"

With a smile, you replied quietly. "I indeed did. If you would like, you can rest yourself. I'll watch over you and Fischl." You gestured towards the sleeping blonde.

Oz nodded and said thank you as he rested closely to Fischl. You looked up at the stars while watching over the two sleeping.

A nice way to relax after a long adventure in Liyue.
