I got a little anxious after she left me on read. Was my answer too peppy? Did she think I was being sarcastic? Or-
"Aang, come down for supper. It's your favorite!" Uncle Gyasto called from downstairs, I got off my bed and went downstairs to see that he was at the table placing down a bowl of salad. He wore an apron as he did so, it read 'Do you smell what's cookin?" I chuckled as I sat down.
"How was school?" "It was great, the usual. I hung out with the gang and...", I blushed as I thought of Katzumi. "And?" "There's this new student, who recently transferred from Sherman Oaks. Her name's Katzumi and I invited her to sit with my friends." "Interesting..." He mumbled as he stroked his beard, I gave him a questioning look as I asked. "What's interesting?" "Oh, nothing." He said as he gave me a wink, I rolled my eyes.
Katara's POV
I was in my room, scrolling through TikTok until my brother walked in. "What do you think of Katzumi?" I asked him as I put my phone beside me. "Oh, she's really funny. I think she's gonna fit in well in our group, I just have to think of a nickname before Toph does." He said as he slumped down on his bed. "Do you think she likes Aang?" He thought about it for a second before he responded. "I don't think so...but they would be a cute couple." I rolled my eyes, oh please, Aang probably doesn't like her that way...hopefully. "Anyway, what's with all these questions?" "Uhm, just curious." "Oh, I see..." He said as he gave me a smug look. "See what?!" "You like Aang." I rolled my eyes, he was right. I do like Aang, I just wish he could see. "Shut up, Sokka." I sighed as I looked away from him.

Katzumi's POV
I came to school earlier today so I could make some new friends, I was by my locker scrolling through TikTok with my iPods on. I suddenly felt a presence in front of me, I looked up to see a really hot guy. He wore a black leather, with a plain grey shirt underneath, he wore black jeans with white converse shoes. He had short messy brown hair and brown-black eyes. Typical 'wannabe' Bad boy. I rolled eyes as I took off my iPods, he gave me wink as I sighed. "Hi, could you please backup?" He seemed a little taken back but still shifted, a little. "I don't think I've seen you around, the name's Jeff." "No, I'm new." I said with a stone cold expression, it didn't seem to shake him though. "Wanna meet up later after school?" "Uhm, no. I've got plans." "Won't you postpone them for me?" "No, I think I'm good." I happily smiled at his distraught face, I heard someone clear their throat. Oh, thank the spirits! It was Suki! "Am I...interrupting something here?" She asked as she glanced from me to this tall guy leaning over me. "Nope." I said as I went to her side, we then walked past him to her locker and just talked.
"That was hilarious!" Suki said between laughs. "I mean, who does that guy think he is?" I laughed as we arrived at her locker. "Did I miss something?" We turned to see Sokka next to Katara, she seemed to glare daggers at me. "Nah, something really funny happened. Don't worry about it." Suki said as she pecked his cheek. We made our way to our homeroom classes since the bell rang, I had to walk alone since Toph and Aang were late. When I entered I was greeted with a fist bump from the jock from yesterday, found out his name was Jarred but he told me to call him Jar for short. His friends also welcomed me with open arms, we just talked about sports, and girls...I know what you're probably thinking...They seemed a little awkward about talking about girls but I assured them that it was chill, turns out Jarred, sorry, Jar had a crush on Toph. I nudged his arm as his friends 'oohed' him, he blushed as she walked in.

I was walking downstairs to my next class with Aang, when suddenly someone covered my head with my hood. I laughed as I took it off, it was Jar, he was in front of his friends as they all chuckled. "Really Jarred?" "What, I didn't see nothin'." "Yeah, real mature." I jokingly rolled my eyes as they chuckled again. "Whatever, I gotta get to class. Come on, Airhead." I looked to Aang who just stood off at the side, he smiled at me as I came to his side.

"Katzumi, we were thinking of hanging out a Iroh's Bobba Tea Shop. You should come." "Thanks but I don't wanna intrude." "Don't be silly, I'm inviting you." "Thanks." I smiled at her as she reciprocated it, I then got on my phone to text my Mom.
Me: Mom, Suki invited me for a hangout at Iroh's Bobba Tea Shop with her friends.
Mama: Lovely when should I fetch you?
Me: I'll text you when I'm done.
Mama: Have fun😘
Me: Thnx, love you☺️
Mama: ☺️
"Why is it taking you so long?" "I gotta make sure I put emojis when I say 'I love you' so she won't disown me" I rolled my eyes as Suki chuckled. "Cool, I'll see you there then?" "Totally." I waved as I made my way to my next class.
