Chapter 11: The Letter

After the meeting I mostly kept to myself, well aside from when I had to apologize to Shigaraki for you know...threatening him. 

But today is the day I'm supposed to be receiving my UA acceptance letter, so I should probably get out of my bed and head down to the bar. 

...

At the bar everyone is doing there usual things, so I sit down and ask Kurogiri for some cereal. 

"Are you doing alright?" he asks. 

Kurogiri is actually pretty kind, contrasting his intimidating appearance. Albeit his kindness only extends to his allies, which makes sense. 

I give him a small nod.

"I guess, today is the day, sure hope I made it" I say with a low chuckle. 

"no doubt" he responds handing me my bowl of cereal. 

I finish up breakfast, without even glancing in the same direction as Shigaraki, and head out to the vacant home that was put on my application. 

Once I reach the home I walk over to the mailbox, and look inside...

I then let out a long sigh of relief as I see the UA logo imprinted with red wax on the PriStiNE envelope. 

For my safety though I think it would be best if I didn't open this in front of the league, so I fly over to an unoccupied area of a local park and sit on a metal bench. So that I wouldn't burn it .

Carefully sitting down, keeping the envelope away from my paste-free wings I slowly open the envelope, and instead of the expected letter, a small metal disc falls out onto the grassy park.

Great a hologram, why can't it just be a letter, it'd be a lot easier. 

Before anything happens, I move the disc into the shade, since you know? It'll be difficult to see a H-O-L-O-G-R-A-M in the sun. 

Under the shade, I press the small circular button on the top of the disc to start whatever is supposed to happen. 

A large UA logo appears, followed by the face of our main target...All might. 

He begins to give a long, tiring speech about how amazing heroes and UA are. 

And after what felt like an hour he finally begins addressing the important stuff...the results. 

"Young Ito, I am pleased to tell you that you placed within the top 10% in the written exam giving you quite the impressive score! You also scored second in the practical...although someone believes that you were holding back." 

He then lightly shakes his head. 

"However, I am pleased to say the you Inki Ito have officially been accepted as a student of UA in Class 1-A! Prepare yourself yourself young Ito to go beyond PLUS ULTRA!"

The hologram finishes. 

'YAY i got in..wow it's so exciting" (s a r c a s m)

That's good at least I won't be dying by Shigaraki's pissed off hands. 

I go on and text Shigaraki about my acceptance. 

He replies with...

"Good I would have disintegrated you if you didn't"

God Shigaraki seriously needs to lighten up.
