Twisted Wings (MHA) -Villain Hawks/Takami-

Chapter 5: Mission in the Underground Pt.1

-Takes place 1 month into Inki's work at the LOV-

I've been working and basically living at the league for around a month now, and honestly this whole villain thing....really isn't that bad. The league has only ever treated me like an equal and as a member of their weird, but still mildly functional family, which is good I guess. 

Right now though I'm currently having some sweet antisocial time in my room, because apparently I have a mission tonight that I need to rest up for-

OR I'm in time out because Shiggy is meeting with another villain group downstairs. 

I've been in my room for a couple hours now, but I'm not really THAT bored. My room is completely fire proof which is sooooooo nice. Since usually when I'm near something as soon as my wing touches it, it kinda just combusts into flames. You can see how that would make it hard to sleep and do a lot of things like I don't know? SHOWER?!?

This quirk really is a pain, BUT it has also been really successful on missions so my opinions are inconclusive.

Long story short having everything in my room fireproofed is pretty awesome, even if I do have to be careful around the rest of the base, and only sit in furniture marked with a blue "X". 

I check the clock and its around 11 at night, so the little villain gang-playdate should have ended. And just like clockwork I get a text from Shiggy telling me to come down to the bar. 

I climb down the stairs and see an annoyed look on Shiggys face, which isn't entirely odd. He speaks first.

"So you know that group I was meeting with just now?"

"Yeah"

"Well I'm going to need you to follow them and burn down their base" He says without giving me any context as to why. 

"Can't Dabi do it? I have a recon mission at 2 which YOU told me specifically to rest up for" I refute honestly a little annoyed.

"Plans have changed now Go. Get. Ready" Shigaraki says in stern voice. 

I turn around and let out a VERY audible sigh, and then begin making my way back to my room to change into my totally "intimidating" villain outfit. 

It consists of a thick black jacket, grey stripped black pants, some "sleek" tennis shoes and a black mask. It's simple and convenient, even if it is an absolute pain to put on. Also since I'll be going undercover at UA in a few months with my original quirk, I have this really awesome thing called "flame extinguishing paste" The stuff was made by one of our Nomu scientists and even if it takes absolutely FOREVER to put on it's a life saver. Basically the paste extinguishes the natural flames on my wings for a limited period of time, and I actually found out that below my flames my feathers are white. So when I'm out doing "villainy stuff" I just kinda have the same quirk as my brother, aside from the color of my wings which is honestly really, really, really convenient. 

After prepping and getting into my villain outfit, I make my way down to the bar after I'd say, a solid 25 minutes. When I reach the bar Shiggy is in the EXACT same position as when I left, looks me dead in the eyes and just says- 

"Go" 

Ok. Creepy much. 

He also hands me a file, with minimal information on the targets. Apparently the meeting that happened a bit ago was to discuss blackmail the group of 10 men, had collected on the LOV. I'm surprised Shigaraki would need my help on this, but this group looks super easy to track down seeing as they all have mutant quirks. 

I nod and walk out the bar, where after reaching a good height in the sky I begin my search above the clustered buildings surrounding the LOV's base. 

They really couldn't have gone far, since according to Shiggy the traveled on foot, and there aren't many pro-hero's patrolling in this district so I don't have to worry about using the skies. 

Then I spot them. 

I'm surprised it was this easy, however to be fair they are a bunch of idiots for travelling in a big group through ALLEYWAYS. I fly in a little bit closer and hear them. They're obnoxiously loud. If I hadn't spotted them first I probably would have heard them. All of them are laughing and joking about destroying the League, but as much as I want to I can't make a move now since from the look of it they aren't anywhere near their base, god this sucks.

I've now been following them on the nearby rooftops surrounding the alleyways for around 40 minutes. This is getting boring, can't they speed-walk or something? 

Then the group slows down and stops at a large door at the end of a silent alleyway and shuffle inside. 

Bingo. Their base. 

Then, still trying to be as quiet as I can I make my way down to the entrance once all of the men are inside, and prepare to set it ablaze. 

I'm not allowed to use my own flames, seeing as they are easily identifiable, so the simple solution is... you guessed it a COMPACT FLAME THROWER!

After getting it out from one of my pockets, I aim it directly at the door. and place my finger on the trigger. I begin to a squeeze..

and then I hear a voice coming from behind me.
