"We'll be doing Quirkless duels, one on one"

I wasn't expecting this but oh well.

URAS speaks up, raising her hand vigorously..

"But shouldn't we be using our Quirks, Aizawa sai-"

My brother cuts her off -"While it is true that most of you will use your quirks extensively in battle, understanding how to handle yourself without your quirks is also important. A lot of you also don't have very offensive quirks that will work in every situation so learning how to fight hand to hand will be beneficial to everyone."

Sniffffffffff. IS THAT INTELLIGENCE I SMELL??? Hmmmmmmmm

The class remains silent for a couple of seconds, seemingly absorbing the information until we are told to change into our hero costumes and head down to Gym C, since we won't be needing anything crazy for simple duels.

(A/N: Everyone's costumes are the same as the cannon and Inkis is the same as what she wore to the entrance exam)

Once we are at the gym my brother sets us up in a large semicircle explains what this whole lesson is all about.

"As I said, Quirkless fighting is an important part of being a hero, so today we are going to see where you all fall in actual fighting training and technique"

"To do this we'll be doing one on one duels, but this will be a one and go, so each of you will only fight once"

"AND if it wasn't completely obvious you aren't allowed to use your quirks"

He then points to a large white board that has all of our duel assignments written out. I search through the mess of names and fined mine.

Inki Ito v. Katsuki Bakugo

(A/N: I know that Bakugo isn't fighting Midoriya, but I need this to happen)

Now I gotta fight this egotistical maniac... awesome. Honestly, even though I pledged that I wanted to keep it on the down low, I wanna end this quick.

But UNFORTUNATELY our duel is in the middle of the pack so I'll have to wait a little bit. So I set myself up in the corner of the viewing area and wait.

The first match starts, and it's really hard to watch.

They obviously have never met, technique, stamina or just basic raw strength.

It's almost as if there over reliant on there quirks, who- who could've guessed?

The matches continue with each on being worse than the last, and the winner only winning because they just outlasted the other in endurance, with the only exception being Todoroki he seemed to have at least some clue as to how to fight. Some.

After a disappointing 5 matches I head up to arena after putting the fire blanket over my wings to get rid of any advantages I could've had.

I can see Bakugo twitching, like he's itching to fight. Overly cocky as always. I will say he looks like he has some brute strength going for him, but he has a major flaw just his from his stance, I can tell... He's predictable.
