The team knew Sakusa and Atsumu were dating. It had been a shock considering their constant bickering, but after a stern lecture about how their relationship wouldn't interfere with their plays, everyone soon moved on.
Now, there's a difference between knowing something in theory, and actually seeing proof of its existence: one the team would come to learn quite quickly.
Later they would realize they should have expected it – Atsumu, after all, was clearly a cuddler given his touchy nature. But paired with Sakusa, a man who didn't exactly scream affection... Well, the concept didn't even cross their minds.
Maybe if it had, what came after wouldn't have seemed quite as mind-blowing.
