KEITH'S POV

As I enter Emernst High with my friends, the first thing I notice is the crowd gathered near the gym building. Looking in their direction I shift my gaze up to the terrace of the building to see a boy standing at the edge.

"Is he committing suicide or cleaning the terrace?" remind me again why is he my best friend!

"Can you a see a broom in this hand to make the prediction come true, Mason?" I turn my attention to the boy who probably will earn the LATE in front of his name.

"Plus do you think these people are staring at him because he is cleaning?" Ryan added.

As we all try to speak some sense in the boy to come down and few student capturing and recording the scene, the principal speaks on the microphone. "Listen David, you are a brilliant student. Just a semester wouldn't decide your future. You will work hard for it, all of us believe in you..." and he goes with his motivational speech.

David just shakes his head and jumps on the place again and again as if telling us he might jump anytime.

I hope we get a holiday after this. I just wanna hit my bed and speak to the mysterious girl. Also there's something about her which makes my heart get this wired feeling.

Other than the fact that she is totally stranger to me and so am I her too, it won't be a problem to at least continue the conversation and maybe meet someday. At first I just wanted play with her and learn few comebacks as she has many stored but now talking to her is a sort of habit I never wanna loose.

Also the fact that this so called competition is fake, I like her being feisty. Very few girls are that open. I find a different vibe from her. She-

My thoughts are cut of in the middle with a voice.

"Hey please don't stop whatever you are doing. This is my first time watching suicide. Please make it my best experience."

Some people are trying to hide their laughter will others who cannot control just burst out at this girl who is standing in crowd with a smile on her face. Ignoring the angry faces of our professors she yelled again, "Dude I am waiting and so are everyone to record the moment. After your funeral we will post it on social media and embarrass your parents even more. The joke of the day will be they wasted almost half the country's annual income on you to have it payed off to them again and now they won't get it."

"Meghan this is a serious situation." Finally professor Smith spoke up on be half of all the stalf. While I was enjoying it. This girl, whose name I learned is Meghan, had her right leg bend over a rock and her arm around a girl who stood next to her.

"Sir, I'm stating facts. His parents spent over lakhs on him so he could afford a happy life and maybe they thought he might give them the same happiness later but as we all can see he clearly has a different mission." She yelled again.

"Who is this girl?" I asked Mason. "Meghan Anderson." I hummed in response making a mental note to study about this girl later.

"Dude you are wasting time. No rivalry and all but the Sweet layers open in 10 minutes." She looked down at her watch and continued, " If you jump now and die, the police will take over your body and calm your crying mother and a shocked father, who might join you soon in eternity meanwhile the principal will declare a holiday. So I can visit the bakery and eat my favourite muffin. It actually gets sold out soon."

The emphasis on his mother and father in her speech made David think and step back. "You jumping or re-attempting? If you are choosing the second option, I promise until you come down everyone will be in their classes and every photo and video deleted." the girl besides Meghan spoke.

David stepped back totally and was out of sight which he was coming down.

"Everyone in your class now and no one will ask him or even speak to him about it." The principal's order was enough for our legs to find their way to the class.

However I couldn't stop but think about Meghan. How did I miss such an exciting character in my own college?

"It's not necessary to know everyone at school which includes Meghan." Ryan answered my question. Did I say it loud?

"How do you know her?" asked Mason. "We have French class together." I just hummed trying not to sound interested in the topic. But meanwhile I will do some digging. But before that I have an important message to send.
