"What is it?" Snape said as Draco softly bit his foot in coyote form. "Transform back, talk to me."

After a few moments, Draco managed to transform back to human form.

"No one saw me, don't worry, Snape." Draco started and took a deep breath. "They're here."

Snape looked at him expressionless and nodded slowly. He followed with a slow blink.

"They're earlier than I expected... do you feel ... prepared?"

"I believe so..." Draco said. "I saw them flying in broomsticks just a few minutes ago. They should get here anytime now."

"I see"

"Should we warn the school?" Draco asked panting. He was stressed and scared.

"No. It's too late now."

Draco shook his head in disagreement. What if people got hurt?

However, he had no time to argue. Suddenly, as Draco and Snape walked towards the nearest window, they saw someone fly above and past them.

But the man came back. He made eye contact with Draco, and completely shattered the window it to pieces. He broke inside, and gave both Snape and Draco a crooked smirk.

"Hello, Malfoy," he said. "Missed us?"

Draco took a step back. He froze. His mind seemed to have grown blank, even though he knew this was gonna happen eventually.

Draco was shaking. What if he wasn't able to protect himself and the others?

The man prepared to cast a spell on Snape.

"So you're alive?" He said, raising his wand and pointing at Snape.

"Expeliarmus!" Snape yelled. "Incarcarous!!"

Green lights flashed. The man was suddenly tied with ropes and unarmed.

"Leave," Snape ordered to Draco without taking his eyes away from the tied man. "You know what to do."

Draco nodded, and suddenly was nowhere to be seen. Snape ran the complete opposite way.

The man, however , stayed tied on the floor. He tried reaching for his hand with his mouth, but it was too far. He tried to push himself toward it, but suddenly, someone set foot on top of it.

"What do you think you're doing?" A voice said. "Who did this to you?"

"Snape, sir." The man on the ground responded. "He's alive."

The other wizard nodded. He did not seem surprised at the statement. "Did you see our target?"

"Yes, sir. But he got away. I don't know where he might have gone." The man responded ashamed. He was shivering now.

"You fool!"

"I'm sorry..." the man repeated.

"Find me my son!" The other man replied loudly and stepped harder on the wand. He broke it in half.

"Yes, Lucious."

After that, Lucious Malfoy walked slowly through the hallways of Hogwarts, scanning everything, looking for his son.

Screams were heard all around. Students, professors, perhaps even his own team.

These previous Death Eaters are thirsty for vengeance... Lucious thought to himself.

Most survivors feel lost with their previous master dead (Voldemort), and they want revenge. Or, well, some just want some entertainment. These past months had been too quiet for all of them. Some were hidden, others were locked up. But, now, they were all together.

And they had a plan: Darkness will once again prevail. And those who went against it in the past, shall die.

"Avada Kadavra!" A death eater yelled and professor Sprout fell to the ground.

Lucius kept walking, and chuckled.

"Professor Sprout!" The boy with the scar on his forehead said. "Impedimenta!" Harry yelled, and the man who had attacked Professor Sprout froze.

Even though Lucious wanted to kill Harry for ruining everything for the death eaters, it was not his main goal. He wanted to see Draco dead.
He had betrayed him.

Therefore, he walked outside and simply watched. The death eaters were destroying Hogwarts once again, and trying to kill as many wizards as possible.... even if they were innocent.

Soon, Lucius will get his own moment.

***

Moments later, he heard an animal moving fast around him. It was running extremely quickly, and it seemed to be particularly focused on Lucius himself.

This is not a common animal, Lucius Malfoy thought. It's a person. I can feel the hatred.

"Just show yourself, my boy. Stop hiding." Lucious said to the emptiness of the forest. Flashing lights were seen from afar inside the Hogwarts building. "Be a man!" He yelled. "Face your father!"

Suddenly, a scream came from inside the woods.
"I HATE YOU!" Draco yelled as he ran. His voice was filled with hatred.

As soon as Draco was close enough to Lucius, he wished nothing but to hurt him. His father ruined his life.
It was no use trying to hide and run away, Draco, too, wanted vengeance.

"Diffindo!" Draco yelled while pointing his wand at his father's leg. A deep cut followed. Lucius nearly collapsed to the ground, but he managed to stay partially standing. He laughed as he wiped the blood of his left leg.

"Petrificus Totalus!" Lucius yelled back moments later, and Draco suddenly could not move. "This is too easy..." Lucius started and walked towards his son.

He reached for his forearm, and rolled the sleeve up. Draco's dark mark was showing. "This! This is what you're supposed to be." He said while pressing on the forearm strongly.

"There! Is where you're supposed to be right now. Fighting for justice!" He pointed at Hogwarts. Not trying to fight me. All I've done for you, and you pay me back like this?" Lucius sighed and moved his son's hair away from his face. "You're pathetic, Draco. You're weak. You always have been."

Draco stared at his father with abomination. He tried to fight away the curse.

If I turn into a coyote, the curse might cancel itself... it's worth a shot... Draco thought.
I just need to get out the words

Lucius kept talking, but in Draco's ears, his voice became faint. It seemed as if it was as soft as the breeze surrounding them.

Draco knew he was paralyzed, and wanted to get out the words of the incantation. However, they claim that once you have mastered the transformation, the wizard shall change form automatically without the need of any type of words. Draco needed to try this. I

He pictured the coyote in his mind.
His heart started slowing down to a normal beat, and tried focusing on the second heartbeat.

Focus, Draco.

Meanwhile, Lucius was mocking his son. Laughing. Calling him pathetic. A true embarrassment to the family name.

Focus on the breeze

All his attention went to the sound of the heartbeat and the breeze brushing the trees.

You can do this, Draco.
You're not weak.

Boom.

A coyote appeared.
The blonde boy was gone.
The curse cancelled itself.
I can move. Draco thought and ran behind Lucius.

He transformed to human again and pointed the wand at his shocked father.

"AVADA-!"
