"What is it?" Hermione asked loudly.

"What is what?" Malfoy wondered innocently.

"Why do you keep staring at me?" Said she. Hermione felt Draco's piercing blue eyes meeting hers, and for some reason she felt something... something quite strange for her... but she didn't mind it in the least.

"It's nothing. I'm just curious on why-y" he stopped talking. "Nothing it doesn't matter,"

"It's ok, go ahead."

"... on why you took the weasel for granted. He obviously only cares about himself, and so do you..... so I was curious on how that relationship would've ever worked out."

"Don't talk that way about Ron," Hermione warned.

"Or what? You're gonna jinx me with one of your spells, mudblood?" He chuckled rudely.

"What is wrong with you?" She asked rather confused. "You've been quite nice to me, and now you're back to your old self? Out of nowhere?"

And then they saw the door to Slughorn's dungeon.

"We're here," Malfoy informed flatly.

"So what? You're just going to ignore my question?" She asked annoyed.

"Quite right. Anyway, let's get this tutoring started, shall we? I've got somewhere to be at 10," Malfoy said.

Hermione nodded and put her books down on a table while Draco took his black robe off. Under those he was wearing a white, long sleeved, buttoned down shirt with a slytherin tie, and black pants.

"It's warm, and I despise those robes," said Draco. "Hope you don't mind," he said and sat down next to Hermione.

Draco's hair was messy, since he took the robe off and she could feel her heart beating faster, but she didn't know why.

"I-it's totally okay with me," she responded with a smile.
Totally okay? She thought to herself Hermione you did not just say that.

"Let's start with transfiguration," she said awkwardly after a few seconds. Draco nodded.

"Basically, we were learning a totally pointless spell about transfiguring snakes into a water bottle filled with water." She said.

"I know, I was there," said Malfoy. "I'm not deaf,"

"Right." She said rolling her eyes. "Lets practice,"

"Where are the snakes?" Draco asked.

"I didn't bring them, they're dangerous."

"Then how do you expect to tutor me?" He asked sarcastically, and with an incantation he made a snake appear. "Done. Now what words do I need to say again?"

"Maghizts aquatika... but how did you get the snake to appear? It's a quite difficult spell..." She wondered.

"We.. uh... death eaters need to know it," he said softly almost even weakly.

"Oh," Hermione responded. "I see."

"It's whatever. Maghizts aquatika!" Said Malfoy while pointing at the snake, and the spell worked perfectly. He now had a water bottle filled with water. "What's next?" He asked.

"Wait... if you knew how to do the spell, then why didn't it work in class?" She wondered.

"I was tired, and I can't stand Profesor Harrison." Said Draco.

"Yeah that was all we had to do today, since I need to check your schedule and see what other classes you've missed."

"So we're done for today?," said Draco.

"I guess we are..." She said. "I'll see you Saturday?"

"I suppose," he smirked and left the room without saying goodbye.

Hermione sat on a chair and started thinking about Draco.
He's actually smart, and knows complicated charms...
Where did he have to go at 10?
Is he still seeing Pansy Parkinson?

But then she would think something like...
It's none of your business, and why are you even thinking about Malfoy?
It's seems like he's back to his old self anyway.

That's when she noticed he had forgotten his robe, and decided to give it back to him the next day.
I'll send him an owl and tell him to meet me after potions class, she thought and walked outside the potions room.

From the corner, she saw a dark figure talking to Malfoy quite in a whisper.

"How did it go?" The dark voice said.

"All right," Draco responded.

"Follow me, I need to show you something," the voice whispered and both started walking rapidly through the dungeons.
