A/N: yes this is inspired by the video that one soft-lock picker made about the 1 and a half hour long battle with koga and six scizors.

anyways, i have a weird urge to turn it into somesort of creepypasta, someway and somehow, so uh e. let's go-

Pokémon Crystal is actually a pretty easy game, and I had managed to finally make it to the Elite4.

My team consisted of my starter, Typhlosion, as well as Lapras, Golem, Umbreon, Ampharos, and my team MVP, my shiny Scizor.

I was gifted him by a friend for my birthday around 2 weeks ago, and I loved used such a powerful and rare Pokémon to beat up half of Johto's gym leaders. He was shiny too, making it even more rarer.

I saved before entering the Elite4, and decided that I would attempt to sweep Will with Scizor. Will lead with Xatu, who's cry sounded sort of glitched for a moment, making me flinch. Scizor's was fine, so I just pushed it off as a small bug.

I fury cuttered my whole way through Will's team, since Xatu's psychic did little damage to Scizor as fury cutter's power increased.

I finally got past the last Xatu, and Will's dialogue read "L-look out. That mighty beast will end this."

I was puzzled at his speech, since when watching my friend beat the Elite4, I remembered him saying "I- I can't believe this!" or something along those lines. Why did it change here?

To be fair, my friend was playing Gold and I'm playing Crystal, so maybe they changed it. I had no idea what he meant by "mighty beast", and if he was referring to my Scizor, but I stuck with it.

I moved up to Koga, who I was planning to let Typhlosion and Lapras deal with, since most of Koga's team was weak to Fire, and Lapras had good backup for Crobat and maybe even Muk.

I put Typhlosion upfront with Lapras as second, before beginning Koga's battle. It started as usual, but I was surprised when I sent.. Scizor out into battle?

What the? I thought I put Typhlosion upfront. I immediately went to the Pokémon option and saw that Scizor had apparently pushed his way to the front of the party... somehow. It kind of creeped me out, but maybe I was just remembering it wrong.

I switched to Typhlosion, or at least I thought I did, since the game returned to the battle but instead of switching, a text box appeared saying "SCIZOR wants to battle instead of TYPHLOSION.", as he used swords dance.

I was even more concerned then before, but I guess I could also sweep Koga with Scizor too. Bruno may be a problem, and I have no idea on how the heck he's supposed to take on Karen's Houndoom.

I went to "FIGHT", but instead of choosing a move myself, the game chose it for me. Scizor used metal claw. This.. was getting weird.

Metal claw managed to KO Ariados, with no surprise. However instead of Venomoth coming out, Koga's sprite showed and a text box appeared like I had just beat him.

"WILL warned you! He warned you!"

I stared at the screen in confusion and concern. What the heck is this? Crystal's Elite4 is dramatic, apparently, and any Scizor you send into battle is arrogant and wants to sweep all the teams itself.

Venomoth then came out, and I wasn't even showed a menu to pick from as another text box appeared.

"SCIZOR thinks it can battle on its own, without you."
"SCIZOR used METAL CLAW!"

I blinked twice. My immediate thought was to reset my game since I saved just outside the Elite4 incase I ever blacked out or something happened. Like this I guess.
