I didn't know how long I eyed that same picture... it was like my eyes were glued to their place on his face. Maybe I slept with my eyes open, my stiff neck and back could attest to that but the heavy weighing of drowsiness shut down that Idea as soon as it came out of my head. The sun hadn't peaked through yet but it never really does in Forks anyway. As soon as it would try to the clouds never gave it a chance. The clock that had once read 3 was now reading 7:18 and the rustling downstairs gave me an indication that I needed to get ready. I threw on a white band long sleeved shirt and jeans as well as my black ankle boots. I stumbled downstairs tripping over the last two steps before greeting my father in the kitchen.
"You look tired... your eyes are all puffy" Bella said, I guess she was trying to start something with me already. I turned and glared at her... I wasn't going to deal with her bullshit today.
"Bella... do you really want to insult your way around the school today? I have zero patience and the 3 minutes of sleep I got are going to run out quick." I snapped, I lowered my head on the table and closed my eyes... but even then sleep evaded me.
"So Fleur, you plan on going out with Jasper tonight? I think you said he got back from his camping trip today." Dad inquired
"Yeah I planned o-" I got interupted.
"Wait... Fleur, you got a boyfriend? What sorry sap felt bad enough to date you?" Bella insulted again.
"Bells knock it off, I gotta get down to the station you two... don't kill each other." Dad grumbled before leaving.
I sighed and raised my head I slowly got up and walked toward the key rack, grabbing my house and car keys. I turned back to Bella and motioned her to me.
"C'mon... I have to lead you to school since you don't know where it is." I mumbled and left the house. I walked toward my car sitting in the driveway... it was old but reliable.
