I sighed and, once again, walked down to the palace dungeon. Why do I always go down here, knowing damn well it'll be some bullshit?

I pushed the door open. "Good morning," I said.

"Good morning!" Tenko beamed. "It's been days!"

"Hello," I said.

Toya groaned and sat up. "Oh," he muttered before yawning. "Good morning."

"Hello, Toya. How are you boys?" I said.

"Great now that you're here," Tenko said with a grin.

"I hate to say it, but same," Toya said. "I bet you've been thinking about me, huh?"

"I simply wanted to check on you two."

"You know what I said before is right."

"I'm almost 19. Children and marriage aren't even something I think about."

"That isn't a no," he said with a small chuckle.

"No," I said with a small sigh. "Please, Toya. Just stop this bullshit. It's annoying as shit!"

"There she is," Toya said with a chuckle. "I'm glad to see you going back to your old self."

"Put a sock in it. Even if I did decide you were right, I would never have a child with you."

"Ha!" Toya said. "Who will you be with then? Natsuo?"

"Or, I'll just make Eri heir to the throne. Shoto and I have discussed it before."

"No! That's not how this works! You're mine," Toya snapped.

"You're delirious," I snapped back.

"You'll see soon enough. I love you, and you love me. Once you accept that, things will be so great," Toya said. "We'll have a family. Three, maybe four, or even five beautiful children."

I shrugged. "Eri is like my child, so I'm good for now."

"She's an outsider."

"So was I," I said while narrowing my eyes at Toya.

"That's different."

"You know it's not," I said. "I was an outsider. That argument is invalid unless you don't see me as family too."

"Can you honestly see yourself marrying someone besides me?" Toya said.

I paused. For a moment, his face seemed to flash through my mind. "K-" I paused and shook my head. "That means nothing," I said. I sighed once again. "I'll be leaving now."

"See you soon gorgeous," Tenko said with a yawn. "Can we have some Pocky down here? I'm getting sick of slop and the occasional muffin."

"Sucks to suck," I said with a small chuckle before closing the door behind me.

Shoto and I sat together in the study, flipping through papers. "Hey, I think this one is Ochako's family."

"Do tell," Shoto said.

"They request higher pay for their low jobs," I paused and read down the list. "Seems like their landlord is abusing their power and draining their cash."

"Hey, this letter says the same," Shoto said. "What should we do?"

"Kill him?"

"____."

I chuckled. "You know I'm only kidding! Maybe we can send someone to give him a good talking to! Kings and Queens orders, to make their prices more fair."

"Alright," Shoto said. "Next order of business is-"

......

Natsuo knocked on the door to a small cottage. A young woman opened the door, probably around the same age as you, 19-20 years old. She had waste long, bright red hair and emerald green eyes. She wore a simple, yet nice dress, something that someone well off- but not noble or royalty would wear.

"Good evening, ma'am," Natsu said.

"Oh! The royal guards, what brings you by?" She said while batting her eyelashes at him.

"We have orders from the king and queen to search your home, and all of the homes in this vicinity."

"May I ask what you're searching for?" She said. She tapped her nails against the doorframe.

'She's nervous. Obviously she has something to hide,' Natsu thought.

"Can't say. Please stand aside."

"Well arent you a cutie," she said to Eri, who was hiding behind Natsu and peeking at the woman.

"Miss," Natsu said in a deeper voice.

"Alright!" She said while throwing her hands into the air. "You won't find whatever you're looking for, but be my guest."

Natsu nodded and stepped inside. He searched the house, and Eri held onto his shirt tightly.

"You're a cutie," the woman said again. "What's your name?"

"E-Eri," she stuttered.

"What a beautiful name," she said.

"That'll be all for now," Natsu said. "Next time I stop by, don't stall," he said before leaving the house. The woman sighed in relief.

"What an idiot," she said to no one in particular. "Bringing another dragon here."

.........

"Well?" Natsuo said.

"H-he's there," Eri said. "Kirishima was right there! Under the table in the main room!"

Natsuo smiled and patted her head. "Great job, kid."

"He's hurt," Eri said sadly.

"Don't worry. We'll save him."
