~~~The next day~~~

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU LOST YOUR TEMPER LIKE THAT," Father exclaimed. "YOU JUST SHOWED EVERYONE HOW RUDE AND UNSTABLE YOU CAN BE."

"I'm sorry daddy," I said while giving him my puppy dog eyes. "In my defense he deserved it. He disrespected me, Shoto, our kingdom, and my choices! Plus his father likes my ferocity. I don't see the harm. He was a stuck up brat that needed to be put in his place."

Father sighed and leaned back on his throne. "I guess since no harm was done you won't be punished, but don't let it happen again. Alright?"

I smiled and hugged him. "Yes, daddy."

"Daddy, while I'm here I have a request."

"What is it?"

"I... I want to take some time away from the castle. I want to travel, see different things, and learn nature magic. I've never been outside of the kingdom," I paused. "I just want to experience the world before I become queen."

"where did this come from?"

"Well, yesterday after the ball I thought of it. I've spent most of my life inside the castle, except for the first few years. I'm not saying that I don't appreciate it, or like it here, I really do, but I want the opportunity to see the world! I could learn so much while traveling, like how to hunt and nature magic."

"...I'll think about it. Have you talked about this with Shoto?"

"Not yet. I won't go anywhere without him though."

Shoto and I laid on my bed.

"I really want to travel and learn nature magic. There's so much I can learn and see! Like this." I showed him the various pages on mythical creatures that live in far off lands, like unicorns, fairies, and people that can turn into dragons.

"Isn't it fascinating Shoto?!"

"I guess it would be fun."

I smiled. "Freedom Sho. No one telling us what to do or how to dress, no schedules, no responsibilities except our own lives. We would have to hunt and find our own food, but that's just another part of the fun! We could learn and experience so much."

"You seem very passionate about this, how can I say no?" I squealed and tackled him. "Yes! Now we just need fathers' approval and we're all set! Oh, we could ask our village friends to join us! We would pay them of course because nothing is free. Oh! and we'd have to bring money and our swords and clothes we can get dirty and-"

"Woah Woah slow down," Shoto said with a chuckle. "We'll just have to wait for father's approval first, then we worry about all that stuff."

"You're right," I said with a sigh. "If we do go, we could invite that cutie Izuku," I said with a slight smirk. "I get the feeling you've taken quite a liking to him."

Shoto flicked my forehead. "Shut up."

At supper, it was just father, Shoto, and I.

"Where are Fuyumi and Natsuo?" Shoto asked.

"Fuyumi is spending time with prince Reiner and Natsuo is training with Kakashi," Father said.

"So father, have you thought about my request?"

"I have. Did you ask Shoto?"

"I'd like to travel as well father," Shoto said.

Father sighed. "I guess I could allow you some time to yourselves. You both are more than capable enough to fend for yourselves for a while."

"Really?! Thank you, daddy!" I exclaimed. "Oh we're gonna need lots of money and clothes and our swords, oh and my bow and arrow. We'll need maps, oh, and journals to record stuff. I'll also bring some books and we'll need something to store water and food in I'll have to get plenty of salt from the cooks-."

"___!" Shoto exclaimed. "You're rambling again."

"Oops sorry! I'm just excited. May I be excused, father?" He nodded and I smiled. "C'mon Shoto let's go pack!" I exclaimed before running out of the dining hall. "SAKURA WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Shoto chuckled before bowing to father and following me.

Shoto and I sat on my bed. "So I made a mental list of all the things we need," I said.

"What do you have so far?"

"Sakura write this down!"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay! So we'll need clothes and shoes, money, maps of... everywhere, journals, books,"

"Why that?"

"Duh! journals so we can record our days and findings, and books for research! We'll also need our swords and
I'll bring my bow and plenty of arrows. We should also bring a few knives, stuff to store water and food in, salt, medicine, blankets,... that's all I've got so far."

Shoto chuckled. "I think we'll be fine with that stuff, and we can just buy whatever else we need."

"Right! We'll have to send someone to get us clothes from the village and the tailor can sew our family's crest on. I wanna say bring back up swords but that's pushing it isn't it?"

Shoto chuckled and nodded.

Throughout the next few days, Shoto and I spent all of our time gathering the items we'll need, reading books on mythical creatures, studying maps, and training hard.

Shoto and I stood side by side at the entrance to the castle. Our bags were packed and we wore simple clothes, pants, a shirt, and boots.

"Ready?" I whispered as I held his hand.

"Ready." He said as he squeezed my hand tightly.

"Honestly, I'm scared but also excited."

"Same." I took a deep breath before holding out my pinky. "Twinsies."

"Twinsies," Shoto said before hooking his pinky with mine and pressing our thumbs together. Then we descended down the large staircase.
