Now, because I was late in posting the last chapter, here is a second update for the day
Everyone is dead but the women and little girls who cannot fight and Imam Zayn al Abadeen (as) who is too sick to fight alongside his father, Imam Hussain (as)
Imam Hussain (as) is the only one left to fight.
He left his sister, Lady Zainab (as) and the other ladies and children and his daughter Sakina (Sakaina). He told his son Zayn al Abadeen (as) that "his duty is to be with the ladies. When they will be paraded in the streets of Kufa and Shaam, you will have to be strong and stand by your aunt Lady Zainab."
Imam Hussain (as) went to the battlefield and faced the enemy and told them for the last time.
"For those of you who still do not know me, I am the grandson of the Prophet (pbuh) (saw), and on the right path. Yazid wants to lead you away from the truth. He does not follow the teachings of your Prophet (pbuh) (saw)."
Arrows were showered on Imam Hussain (as). He charged into the battlefield saying, "If you are determined to fight me then I am ready, watch how the grandson of the Prophet (pbuh) (saw) fights, see how the son of Ali (as) and Fatima (as) fights. Even after three days of hunger and thirst, I am not afraid to die. For me death is better than surrender."
He (as) fought and killed as they fought back.
They soon attacked in force, throwing stones, attacking with swords and arrows. Imam Hussain (as) was bleeding from head to toe.
Shimr came forward and beheaded Imam Hussain (as). They carried it on a spear to Yazid.
Labayk Ya Hussain!
Labayk Ya Hussain!
There is more, hopefully I will post soon
I will post about After Karbala, after the death of Imam Hussain (as)
What happened to Lady Zainab (as) and Zayn Al-Abadeen (as) and the ladies and girls?
