The door of the cell I placed Bucky in creaked as Jonathan pushed it open. As he did it revealed Bucky kneeling on the cold concrete. He wore the same suit I remembered from our time looking for the flag smashers. The dark leather contrasted his pale skin as I listened to him take a deep breath upon my presence.

In addition to his dark outfit, a bandage adorned the thigh I had stabbed last night. A large red spot staining it now. He lifted his head to look at me, a look of hurt in his eyes as I set foot in the cell. Jonathan shut the door as I passed, but stood guard at the door.

My heels echoed through the cell as I stalked across the concrete, stopping in front of Bucky. He seemed intrigued as he sat up, still kneeling as he watched me walk over to him. I could feel his eyes boring into me, scanning every inch of me trying to piece me together.

I set down the first aid kit, avoiding his scanning gaze as I opened up the plastic case.

"I'm just here to change your bandage.." I said kneeling down beside him. I set down the roll of gauze in my hand.

"Why you?" he asked furrowing his brows, a look of almost disgust on his face.

"You don't have someone who works for you, who can do that?" He spoke as if what he was insulting me with his question.

I couldn't help but scoff as I shook my head.

"I wanted to do this.." I smiled at Bucky from behind my hair that fell in front of my face as I got out the things I needed from the kit.

Bucky narrowed his eyes as he moved from a kneeling to a sitting position. A glimmer of hope flashed in him, and that was exactly what I was going to play on.

He sat up, leaning his head against the wall behind him. His eyes following my every move. I inched forward on my knees, leaning over his bandaged thigh that I had previously stabbed.

The air was quiet, filled with only Bucky's deep breathing as I undid the bandage around his thigh. Once I had the bandage undone I carefully traced a finger along the side of the tear in his pants from the stabbing. Bucky flinched as I traced his warm skin. The stitch fully exposed to the chilly air.

My fingers moved slowly as I rubbed the ointment over it, my eyes looking up to meet his watchful gaze as I closed the lid of it.

"What?"

"You look beautiful," Bucky spoke his voice breathy, just above a whisper.

I rolled my eyes grabbing the gauze wrapping it around his thigh as another moment of silence settled into the room. After wrapping the bandage a sufficient amount of times, I tore it before taping it off.

"Lina?" he reached out, resting a hand on my arm. I looked down at his hand, placing mine softly over his, my thumb running over the back his before meeting his pleading blue eyes.

"Come home," he begged, squeezing my hand slightly.

I found myself searching, for what I don't know, as I looked at him. His hand moved up my arm, resting at my bicep, giving my arm a small squeeze as he looked me up and down.

"Please come home..." he pleaded again, another small squeeze.

"Come home to me.."

"I am home," I said gathering up the kit, ripping my arm from his grasp before standing up.

"You made the world believe you're some heartless murderer..." He started as I wiped off my slacks with one hand,  "but I know who you really are."

I laughed out loud at that statement.

"Not anymore," I said shaking my head, resting the kit against my hip.

"I am someone of power who is actively making a difference, looking out for those in need and not stopping when someone tries to get in my way," I announced making Bucky roll his eyes as he pushed off the wall standing up.

"You're hurting people,"

"The people I've hurt, hurt many more than I have," I said, the anger rising in me at the same time frustration rose in him.

Bucky took a quick step towards me throwing a punch, but I ducked landing a punch into his stomach, sending him into the wall behind him.

"You're always so loving with your punches," he groaned taking a knee as he got up slowly.

I smirked, taking a step towards as he tried to throw a punch with his left arm. I grabbed his wrist pressing reaching my hand out to his shoulder. I hit each of the four points where vibranium meets his shoulder, before his arm unattached itself from his body. I kept my hold of the metal wrist as I placed it on my shoulder, with a shrug.

A shocked look came over him, as his mouth hung open.

"Lina.." he sighed. His eyes full of hurt and betrayal as I walked toward the door Jonathan opened.

An aggravated yell escaped him as he ran at me, I turned bringing my foot up landing a kick to his chest, sending him flying into the wall opposite me.

"Thanks for the present," I said with a wave of his own metal arm in my hand, before Jonathan shut the door behind me.
