"Sharon Carter you have been pardoned and if you so choose will be offered your old position as Agent 13 at S.H.I.E.L.D.," the judge's voice rang out, booming around the room.

Sharon stood there at the podium looking professional in her pant suit, her posture perfect as she listened to the judge give her, her life back.

I leaned over squeezing Bucky's arm with an excited smile. He looked down at me with a smile on his face, before turning back to look at Sharon and the judge.

"I would like that your honor," Sharon said and I could hear the smile in her voice.

I watched the judge bring the gavel down, making it all so, and legal for Sharon to be the person I knew her as, and not the one hiding in Madripoor, making a new name for herself. She turned walking out of the room and Bucky and I followed her outside.

"I'm so proud!" I squealed excitedly jumping out to hug her, wrapping my arms around her. Sharon laughed squeezing me back before pulling away to straighten out her pant suit. Bucky shook his head with a smile as he watched the two of us.

"We should get food to celebrate," I offered wrapping one arm around Bucky's waist, his arm draping over my shoulders, pulling me into him.

"Sorry Hells, I'm going to pass. I've got plans with my parents," her face turned into a little frown as she patted my shoulder.

"But I'll catch up with you guys later!" she waved to us as she turned around lifting her phone to her ear as she took off.

Bucky's hand moved to rest at the base of my neck, massaging a pressure point softly. I couldn't help but lean into his grip.

"Let's go home, maybe we can fix up something there," Bucky offered as he turned walking down the steps, guiding me along as I fell into step with him.

"Peanut butter and jelly sounds pretty good right now," I said wrapping my arm around his waist, our hips pressed against each other as we walked home.

We got home to our apartment and quickly unlocked the door. Bucky's roaming hands spun my hips, moving me to face his chest as he peppered small kisses all over my cheeks. I wrapped my arms around his neck, trying to evade his kisses, my giggles echoing through the apartment.

To be in love with Bucky felt as if I was free falling.

The feeling of falling with the butterflies in your stomach, mixed with knowing feeling that someone was going to catch you at the end, the feeling that I knew Bucky would catch me in the end. I knew was safe with him.

Bucky let go of me, kissing my forehead one last time before disappearing into the kitchen, leaving me to watch him go.
