❝ Lonely Travels ❞

"Our first destination will be Mt. Sagiri! I will lead you there right now! Make sure to listen closely to my directions!" The crow stated, still sitting on the head of Y/N. "Okay," was all she said in response. The walk was silent until Y/N asked something, "Hey crow, Nao-san said she made the letters with haste, should I make this quick too?" she received no answer for a while.

"I cannot answer that question!" Y/N then started running, making the crow almost fall off, "Hey! What are you doing?!" The crow asked angrily. "Since she said that I should do the same as she did, then I should. For some reason I feel like this is a test so I'll hurry," she explained.

After a few hours of travelling, the crow was astonished by the girl's speed and stamina, she would take momentary breaks before running again at the exact speed the first time. Though the marathon was paused when she pulled out something from her kimono. It was an onigiri. She halved it and gave the other to the crow.

"I only eat worms or insects. Though thank you for the offer," was it's response. Y/N ate the whole onigiri.

It Was Already close to night time

"Well aren't you a hard-working one. We made it to Mt. Sagiri within a day! If you succeed to become a Demon Slayer, you will surely, be able to do missions more efficiently than others!" The crow complimented. Y/N panted a little before laying her eyes on a small house nearby.

That's when she finally realized something. Wait isn't this where Tanjirou and Urokodaki train? Oh-- right! I wasn't paying attention enough! Mt. Sagiri! This can also be a chance to interact with the characters! the girl mentally slapped and reminded herself.

"Right! I forgot to tell you something," the crow said abrupty, "Koyuki-sama said to put on the mask before approaching the people! Also, she said to talk as minimal as possible," Heeding it's instruction, Y/N put on the kitsune mask and walked towards the house.

She knocked on the shoji door. It took a moment before someone opened it, revealing a Tenggu masked man. Urokodaki..The man was silent before muttering, "Oh..The mask.." He opened the door wider and beckoned for her to come in. Y/N bowed a little before going inside with Urokodaki. They sat near the table. It was quiet for the first few minutes.

"Uhm..My Master tasked me to send this letter to you," Y/N said, finally breaking the awkward atmosphere. Urokodaki took it and opened the letter.

To Y/N's surprise, a soft chuckle escaped the old man. He took out a scroll and handed it to her, "I figured you knew Koyuki," he comented, making the h/c haired girl interested.

"Though I was not expecting her to have a student. She was never the type to actively teach others. Say, how long have you been under her wing?" he asked. "I just started yesterday," she answered.

"I see..that explains this task.." He whispered. "Pardon?", after realizing what he said, Urokodki brushed it off, "No, it's nothing. Thank you for coming."

"Say, would you like to stay here for the night? I'm sure you're tired after a long jourey," Y/N polietely declined, "Thank you for the offer but my master is definitely waiting for me to deliver these letters quickly."

"I understand."

Y/N stood up and bowed before thanking him again and leaving the house. As she started to continue on her journey, she heard the voice of a young male behind her.
