xviii. The Tell

"Wait, Jade, what happened?" Allison shouted as her best friend exited a room followed closely by a male who was close to both females.

"Allison, sweetheart, it's probably just the full moon or something. But he kissed me." Jade explained to the raven-haired girl who was now standing in shock in front of her after the werewolf had just left their sight.

"It's OK. You're right, it's probably just the full moon. It doesn't matter." Allison sighed and shrugged it off before taking hold of her female companion's hand and attempting to lead her out into the lacrosse field.

"I know how you feel. Not that I've ever had something like the two of you do. I just, I understand." She tried to comfort her best friend, stopping her in her tracks.

"Jade, it's fine!" The taller female convinced Jade. "Besides, it's not just the fact that Scott kissed you. It's the fact that it was you too. Together. You're the two people I love more than anything, obviously other than my parents. But you know what I mean." Jade nodded, loosely understanding what Allison was saying. "I mean he kissed you before I even got the chance."

"What?" Jade questioned, trying to figure out if her best friend actually did just say she had thought of kissing her. She knew herself that Allison wasn't the only one of the duo who had thought about kissing the other.

The werewolf's ex placed her hand gently on Jade's neck, looking her in the eye. Silently asking if it was OK. Before Jade could take time silently answer, she felt like she was on top of the clouds. She'd thought abut this moment before, both of them had. But neither of them knew it was actually going to happen.

Jade pulled Allison deeper into the kiss by putting both of her hands securely on her neck. She always thought that her first proper kiss would be with Stiles. Well, that's what she wanted it to be with. But she didn't mind it being with Allison. Part of her preferred it. And if she was dreaming right now, she would never want to wake up.

They pulled apart after a moment and kept eye contact. Allison opened her mouth to say something but was soon interrupted by the admittedly deafening sound of the school bell. They smiled at one another before heading onto the field to watch the lacrosse practise.

What the hell just happened? Jade thought when they were heading over to the field. I just kissed two people in the space of 5 minutes, and they were Scott and Allison. I am so fucking confused right now.

"Hey, where've you been?" Stiles asked Jade as she arrived on the field, accompanied with Allison. The two females looked at each other with slightly wide eyes for a second before they both turned their attention back to the sarcastic teenager in front of them.

"Uhh, I just had a chat with Scott and then me and Allison talked for a little bit and now, we're here." Jade convinced her childhood best friend. Although, there wasn't much convincing needed to be done. She had just left out some tiny details from the explanation.

"Oh, OK. You know when you and Scott had a chat, did he seem any, I don't know, different?" The boy questioned.

"Yeah, he was acting a bit strange." Jade admitted to him, watching as Allison went to go find a place to sit on the bleachers. Stiles started to turn around but was stopped by Jade's hand grabbing his arm.

"Stiles, he kissed me."

"What?" Stiles didn't want to believe this. Jade knew it wouldn't make the situation any better if she brought up the fact that she had also kissed Allison only a few minutes ago, not far at all from where Scott had kissed her.

"Scott kissed me. But it doesn't matter. It's just the full moon." She replied and stared at him, trying to figure out the puzzled look across the teenager's face. She waited and stared more. And more. And more. And more. "Stiles, say something." She urged.

"Scott, kissed you?" He repeated the female.

"Yeah, that's what I said." Jade confirmed as she looked over to where Allison had seated herself and saw her sitting uncomfortably. "I gotta go." She stated before making her way over to her best friend.

"Wait, Jade-" Stiles stopped his sentence when she got to far away to hear and watched as she sat happily next to Allison, noticing how much closer they were since before the late night at the high school. Was he too late?

"Danny, are you okay?" A shout came from the lacrosse field where the players were momentarily practicing. By now, they crowd's full attention was drawn to the herd of figures down next to the goal net. When Jade focused on the herd of players, she noticed that Danny had been hurt and was lying on the grass, being looked over by the team and a few odd players from the crowd. She also saw Scott and Stiles separated from the players. Allison and Jade were now heading over to the chaos.

"Dude, what the hell are you doin'?" Stiles questioned Scott as the werewolf ripped off his helmet.

"He's twice the size of me." Scott grunted.

"Come on, watch out." Coach bellowed out across the field as he scrambled through the fairly small circle of teens.

"Yeah, but everybody likes Danny." Stiles states to his best friend. "Now everybody's gonna hate you."

"I don't care."
