After the night at the school, things had been becoming different for Jade.Waking up in sweats, panic attacks, developing fearlessness, losing most contact with her brother and constant nightmares. She couldn't figure out why she had been losing contact with her younger brother. Part of her thought she might have said something. The other part didn't want to know, the other part preferred it this way. It gave her space. More freedom.
Jade didn't feel the need to tell anyone about her recent experiences. She didn't want to. As has already been explained, she liked it better now. Despite the changes. But the other thing was that Stiles hadn't stopped calling or checking up on her. She kept on telling him she's ok, but no one says they're okay if they are actually ok. Which part of her was not.
But these changes had another advantage. It somehow brought her closer to Allison. Ever since the night at the high school they'd been seeing each other everyday. Jade didn't mind that Allison was probably just trying to get over her breakup with Scott, she liked the company from her. She didn't want the company from anyone else. Just Allison.
She had missed 3 days of school in the past week, which were the only days she had left of school that week after the night school. She didn't care, her dad didn't pay any attention to her and her brother rarely even acknowledged her existence anymore. Even though she still provided food for him when their dad wasn't there. The most she receives now is a 'Thank you.' It had only been 5 days but it felt like this is what it had been like Jade's whole life. Being invisible to those around her except one person.
"Okay. So, question, are you coming back to school tomorrow? Because even though I haven't been talking to Scott or Stiles, I know they miss you right now." Allison smiled at her female companion as they lay side by side on Jade's bed.
Jade sighed before answering. "Yeah, I guess."
The raven-haired girl grinned and turned onto her side to face the other brunette. Jade returned the action and it turned into a safe and peaceful moment that neither of them ever wanted to leave. They both knew they had only known each other for a month but they had grown a strong liking for one another within that time.
As Jade looked at Allison, she realised how much the girl meant to her. She felt as if she could stare into her eyes forever, and Allison thought that too. Jade had always thought Allison was beautiful, she was in love with her beauty. She always had been. And in this friendship, all feelings seemed to be reciprocated.
"Do you think it'll end up ok with Scott?" She didn't know whether this was the right question to ask in this moment in time but she wanted to know how the other girl felt.
"I'm not sure, I hope so. But I guess it depends if he still wants to be with me."
"What? Of course he still wants to be with you! I mean, who wouldn't? If I had you i don't think I'd ever let you go. Allison, I know that boy very well. And I know he loves you."
"Thank you so much. If I were with you I wouldn't let you go either." Allison giggled as she rested on Jade's bed.
Jade scoffed, "Yeah, right."
"I'm not kidding! I mean, look at you. You are hot. Extremely hot. Who would ever pass you up?" Hot.
"I can definitely say the same about you. You are the hottest girl i've ever laid my eyes on." Jade admitted.
It was nice, their friendship. Or whatever they had going on here. It was something they both enjoyed. Something that made them both happy.

Jade went to school the next day as she had told Allison. She didn't fear the school like she did the night they were there. In fact, she didn't fear anything.
"Jade! Oh my god, you're back!" Stiles shrieked as he saw her collecting her history book from her locker. "How are you?"
"I'm fine." She lied and silently closed her locker door before turning to face him.
"Are you sure?" He questioned, knowing something was up with her.
"I'm pretty sure." She put on a fake laugh.
"Hey guys, what's going on?" Allison approached them just in time before the conversation became awkward.
"Uh, nothing. We were just about to go to class." Stiles answered her and smiled.
"Oh, well, don't you have lacrosse practice with Scott?" The raven-haired girl asked him.
"Oh uh, yeah. That I have." He could sense the uncomfortableness in the conversation so immediately turned away and headed to practice.
———
"From Jade to you?" Scott asks his best friend as they are making their way to lacrosse practice together.
"Yes, from Jade to me." Stilinski admitted before taking a halt in his step. "Look, I don't know if I have a chance with this girl, okay? C'mon, please."
"Fine." The other male sighed and walked towards the doorway where Allison and Jade were giggling like there normal selves. "Hey, do you think I could borrow Jade for a minute?"
The laughter died soon as he arrived and Allison caught his eye for a moment. "Yeah, yeah that's fine." She smiled before Scott and Jade went to have their first conversation in over 5 days.
"Hey, so I wanted to ask you something." The teen wolf started as they entered a small classroom beside them.
"And that is?"
"Does Allison still like me?" Scott blurted out.
"What are you talking about? Of course she still likes you, dumbass." Jade answered him, perched onto the edge of the desk.
"Oh, ok. So um, there's something else I want to ask you." He stuttered as he watched her stand up in front of him.
"Go on." She mentored.
The McCall boy stood awkwardly for a moment before something strange all of a sudden took over his body. Something pushing him to do something. Before the girl could even speak, his hands were around her neck and their lips were locked. But not for long.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Jade shrieked at him after she pushed him away.
"I-" He started, but couldn't finish before she had stormed out of the room and left him in shock.
