Chapter 4 : A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Y/N's POV:

"There was a guy?! In Imai-san's House?" Sayo-san reacted surprised when I told her about what happened.

A few days have passed by the time I met Akira Sakamoto, and ever since I couldn't help but worry about Lisa.

I have a bad feeling about the guy.

He seems decent, but I swear there's something very off about him.

"Apparently there was a guy... So my plans for telling Lisa how I felt all crumbled to dust."

I continued to tell them about what happened that time. And some details that pretty made me rethink of telling Lisa my feelings.

"When I got inside, he acted as if he was so intimate with Lisa... Like for the whole time, he had his arm wrapped around her waste, while I was sitting at the other couch." I said with utter disbelief.

"Does he even have the right?" Sayo-san asked me.

"I don't know... Maybe yes, Maybe No... But one thing was for sure... Lisa being treated that way some stranger in front of me, was uncalled for in my part..." I replied to her statement.

"Hmm... This is hard indeed... What does a guy like him even want with Lisa?" Yukina stated seemingly worried for Lisa as well.

"I don't know... He said that He's an old friend hers..." I said as I munched on my burger.

"But I kinda don't trust him." I stated simply.

"I don't want to jump to conclusions... But I just have a bad feeling about the guy... The moment I shook hands with him... I felt something else..."

Plus, I can't help but worry about Lisa. For now, she doesn't see it, the threat he could possibly be to all of us.

"I see..." Sayo-san followed.

"There's practice later... Maybe perhaps we can just try to shake it off for now... We don't know what we're dealing with... So, we need to back off for a bit now..."

"Yeah... We shouldn't make any conclusions, that would lead to conflict... We wouldn't want that..."

I replied rather sheepishly, before slumping back to looking down.

"Perhaps, I need to go back to watching her from afar... Again..."

"Y/N..." Yukina looked at me slightly worried and held my hand.

"Please, whatever it takes... Please protect Lisa... You and I both know how much important she is to all of us.... I wouldn't her to fall for some stranger we don't even know, let alone trust."

I looked at her, reassuring that she will be in good hands, and hopefully... She won't go to someone else who has bad intentions. And that Akira guy, I really have a bad feeling about him.

Plus it does kind of hurt my heart, seeing her with someone else anyways.

"Don't worry Yukina... I'm her best friend... I won't let anything happen to her." I smiled at her and immediately looked out the window, with a desperate gaze.

Lisa... I hope you're okay.
