Chapter 7.5 : What Happened To Us?

Ako's POV:

"EEEEEHHHH?!!! OPERATION L.I.S.A FAILED?!"

I exclaimed as I asked how Y/N's date went? I wasn't really expecting this to happen. It was a few days since Y/N's date... And I heard things didn't go well.

"Well... It was unexpected..." Y/N sighed as he wiped the counter.

"I didn't think that Akira would be so fast... Let alone Imai-san to agree to fall for him." Sayo-san said with a hand scrunching her chin.

"Y/N..." Yukina-san looked at Y/N who was just doing his work. I've never seen him so lifeless before.

Don't get me wrong, he's alive and working, but he's just not thay lively now.

"Hey, Y/N-san... Do you need help?" I asked him.

"Oh, no need Ako... I'm fine. Kai's sick, so I have to take over for now." He gave me a small smile.

Y/N-san...

"Are you really okay?" I asked him in a worried tone.

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine." That was all he could say. He then looked at Yukina.

"Well, perhaps I can talk about what happened later when you all finish... So yeah, you guys should probably set up... I'm just going to watch the shop." He said as he went back to fix the stocks of strings.

Y/N-san...

Y/N's POV:

Wow... It's been a few days since that date, huh? I was restocking the guitar strings and bass strings when a thought passed by  what happened that day.

~Flashback, Operation L.I.S.A~

I didn't hear her right.

I refuse to believe what happened. I just basically built up my courage for nothing.

And then, it all just went downhill in a flash.

"Y/N! I won the bet!" Lisa referred to the time she said that to me on Christmas Eve last year.

And the fact that it was our goals, it just made me hurt a lot.

"Yeah... You really did." I just muttered out.

"I've never been so Happy in my life..." Lisa smiled excitedly, while I just sat there, trying to hide what ever happened.

"Yeah... Congratulations..." I just looked down.

Well... I do have to keep the end of my promise, right? I promised to support her no matter what after all.

I care for her after all...

"Sorry, if it was a bit shocking... But I was supposed to tell you and Roselia earlier... It's just you all seemed to busy for something..." Lisa started.

But before I could even speak, she looks back at me getting back to the topic.

"So... What did you want to tell me?"
