You were cuddling your boyfriend, Loki. You both weren't in the mood for activities today. You just wanted some quality time together.
Your left hand was on his chest as your right arm was under his back. Loki's right hand was below his head, supporting it as his left was circled on your waist, holding you close to him.
Your mind was swarming with all the happy memories you have made together. The first time Loki showed you his Jötun form, the day he tried to make cookies and failed miserably, and you laughing, causing him to throw the remaining flour at you and start a war, the time you danced with Midgardian music. It goes on forever.
Out of nowhere, you blurted something out. And that something was you saying that you loved Loki. You've never said it to each other before, thinking that it was too early. But after seven months of dating, you decided that it was enough time.
His eyebrows raised as his eyes widened, looking at you with a red face. He opened his mouth to speak, but he remained frozen in place. You giggled and sat up, him doing the same.
You scooted closer and sat on his lap, looking directly into his eyes as you caressed his heated cheeks. "What, silver tongue turned to rust?" You chuckled.
His eyes softened as both hands caressed your sides. He smiled, chuckling at his girlfriend's words before saying "I love you" back. He leaned in, looking at your lips before kissing you.
It's like nothing had changed. You felt as many butterflies as you did the first time Loki kissed you.
You were awfully in love with this man, and he felt the same for you.
