Stuck in the middle of nowhere, with a cloud of death and filled with so called 'variants' that the Time Variance Authority had pruned a long time ago.

Yeah, this was your home now.

Months after being pruned by the TVA, you've grown used to living, running and hiding in this place. Living like a scavenger, stealing and taking things that aren't yours. However, not once have you had the same hiding spot, as other tribes could easily sneak in there as well. Not to mention there's always been one small army that has tried taking you down multiple times.

The leader of this certain army calls himself "President Loki". An arrogant asshole that's only out there for one thing. Power. And just like any other so-called 'Loki' variant, his army follows in his footsteps. Too blind to see he is only using them.

Seeing that he was an annoying prick, you found that as an excuse to steal from him multiple times. Sure you knew the dangers, but that adrenaline kept you alive.

And as weird as it may sound, it felt nice to see him. Everytime he gave you that confident smirk, that soon enough would turn into a frown after you'd slipped away once again.

On your way back to your current hideout, something felt off. The eerie feeling of someone watching you, loomed over you.

Taking out your dagger from your pocket, you stretch it out in front of you, narrowing your eyes and looking around you.

Slowly you enter your hiding place, nothing seems wrong with that either.

Your bed is still a mess, simply forgotten in the corner. Blankets are thrown over the windows, in a desperate attempt to keep yourself hidden.

"Come out, come out wherever you are." you say, as you now stand in the center of the room, your eyes still scanning everywhere. Your dagger held in a firm grasp.

"No need to act so violent, darling." A voice cooed from the darkness, right behind you.

The hairs on your neck rose as you turned around quickly, meeting the smug face of your enemy.
