KIE POV

A few hours later we picked up some beer and headed to the chateau. We got to the dock and pope jumped out to tie it off. We all piled out and started walking up to the porch. I drop the case of beers off next to the cooler and went inside.

"Hey" I say casually to Sarah, who was sitting on the couch.

"Hey, we goin in the cats ass tonight?" Sarah asked

"Yup, we just got beers" I say

"Oh, JJ already picked some up a while ago.. that's fine though, more for us" she says laughing

"Yea, we're is JJ?" I asked

"Oh uhh, I think he's in the spare room" she says pointing down the hall. She then stood up and went outside since Cleo had just arrived.

"Ah okay, I'll be out in a minute" I say as I slowly creep down the hall.

I slowly open JJs door to see if he was inside.

"Helloo?" I say quietly warning him that I was coming in.

I crept around to his bed where I saw his phone laying there. But I didn't see him.

Before I know it I hear a door behind me open. I turn around and see JJ standing in the bathroom doorway, wearing nothing but a towel. His hair soaked and drooping over his eyes. His body still wet. I sat there in silence for a minute just staring at him.

"Uhhm sorry." I say kinda of awkwardly as I continue staring at his abs. I didn't want to but I couldn't take my eyes away. I don't know why

JJ POV:

"You like what you see?" I say sarcastically while totally flexing my muscles. She was straight up starring. It was hard not to laugh

"What?" She says snapping back into reality and looking me in the eyes now. "Oh.. shut up don't flatter yourself." She says as if she were trying to cover for herself.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked.

"I was coming to get you, we're drinking in the cats ass tonight." She says while heading to the door.

"Oh okay I'll be out there in a minute" I say casually as she walks out the door, closing  it behind her.

I start to blush almost as I get dressed. The way she looked at me at first was so funny. It left me with a weird feeling. Her face was priceless though. She was so awkward.

I throw on a black wife beater and some shorts. I head outside and meet up with everyone and get a beer.

There all outside surrounding the cats ass. There music playing and we have the lights wrapped around the tree turned on.

Kie was inside the hot tub with Sarah and john b. Her and Sarah downing white claws like crazy. It's always funny when there drunk.

She was wearing a dark red bikini with her hair in a bun. Not that that matters or anything.. just sayin.

I walked over and grabbed a beer out of the cooler.

KIE POV:

I'm already four white claws In when I see JJ come outside. He grabs a beer out of the cooler and then climbs on top of the rim of the hot tub and stands up.

"JJ what are you doinng?!" I say laughing but I was honestly concerned.

"You guys dare me to jump!?" He yells and then starts point at all of us.

"Let's see it" John b says while taking another sip of his beer.

"WOOOOOOOOOOO!" JJ yells and starts shaking his hair and then jumps in full cannon ball in the shallow hot tub.

Everyone started screaming and laughing at the splash.

JJ pops back up from underwater and shakes his hair again, getting it to dry a little, making it messy. He then sticks up two rock and roll signs and then crack open his beer and chugs it.

"Oh my god" I laugh then grab him another beer from the cooler and handed it to him

"Hey y'all don't drink too much" John b says pointing to JJ and then me. "We have that New Year's Eve party tmr and y'all don't wanna be hung over too bad"

"Oh yeaaa" sarah said, cupping her white claw in her hand. "I completely forgot about that"

"This New Years I'm getting waaaaasted bro" JJ said standing up in the hot tub cracking open another beer. "This year sucked"

"Amen to that" I said raising my drink

JJ POV:

I smile at Kie and raise my drink with her. She smiles back and then we both take a sip.

I sit across from her and sarah who kept giggling and spilling there drinks everywhere. Very entertaining to watch.

After about 2 hours of us hanging out in the hot tub, John b insisted we all go to bed now to get ready for the crazy night we were going to have tomorrow. He was right, and so we all started going inside one by one until it was just me, pope, and Kie left.

"Okay yea I'm calling it in" pope said while hopping out of the hot tub. "Y'all better be in soon or your gonna regret it" he says while walking away, shivering.

"What time does the party start again?" I ask kie once he leaves

"Uh I think it start at 10" Kie said unsure "enough time for everyone to get drunk before the count down" she laughs

"You got anyone to kiss this year" I ask casually

"Nope, I'm just going with friends this year"

"Don't worry you can kiss me so you don't look like a loser" I say jokingly in my normal cocky tone

"Shut up" she laughs, humoring me. I'm always making jokes about hitting on her so this is nothing new.

"Cmonn, why not" I say, not giving up.

"In your dreams JJ" she says in a sassy tone

"Cmon, just a peck" I continue "that doesn't even count as a real kiss"

"Nope, not happening" she shoots back

"Be real, you know you want to" I said cocky but joking

"Not in the slightest" she says shaking her head

"Fine, whatever" I say lifting my hands up defensively "your loss"

"Mhm" she says sarcastically "I'm going to bed JJ, and you need to too."

"Yea I know" I say, then we both get out of the hot tub and head to the porch

"Offers always on the table though, you just let me know tomorrow and-" I joke while walking up the stairs

She cuts me off and hits my arm with the back of her hand and says "shut up" while laughing

"I'm just sayin" I say while trying to not break character

KIE POV:

JJ was stupid if he ever thought I would actually ever kiss him. I knew he was joking like always but that would still never happen.

I went inside and grabbed a dry change of clothes. JJ let me sleep in the guest bedroom and he took the couch. Thank god. That couch is so uncomfortable.

I lay in bed thinking about what JJ said. Obviously I wasn't considering it. I was just thinking about it.

I couldn't control my thoughts and some how ended up imagining us kissing. It was just a thought though. I'd never actually do it. He's too close of a friend to me.

I quickly stopped thinking about that when I realized I forgot to confront him for lying to me. It was too late now. I Geuss it'll have to wait till tomorrow.
