KIE POV:

11:30 in the morning and I finally wake up. I feel slightly nauseous, but nothing too bad.

I walk down the hall and into the kitchen to get something to eat, when I saw JJ. he was looking in the fridge but turned around and noticed me

"Morning" I say in a tired voice

"Good morning princess" he says while grabbing the milk out of the fridge. "You ready to kiss me tonight" he jokes.

"Oh your still on that" I say laughing. "Just give it up"

"Neverr" he says as he pours milk into a bowl of cereal, spilling some. "Woops"

"Your so stupid" I joke, while covering my head in my hands.

"Does this taste funny to you" he asks after taking a bite and slide his bowl over to me

"Lemme see" I say and then take a bite. "No not re-"

"See you technically just kissed me right then" he says while trying to keep a straight face.

I death starts him and then fling a little cereal of the spoon at him. We both start laughing and ended up waking the others.

John b and Sarah walked down the hallway into the kitchen together

"Good morning everyone" sarah says while walking to the fridge

"What's happenin" John b says as he leans on the counter next to me

"Oh nothin, we were just talking about how Kies gonna kiss me tonight for New Years" JJ said with a straight face

"AM NOT" I laugh "god JJ"

JJ laughs and takes another bite of cereal

"Oooo fancy" jokes John b, knowing that JJ was just trying to be annoying.

JJ POV

For the rest of the day I kept making little jokes about kissing her for New Years. Each time I was very much shot down.

When it was time to go to the beach for the party, everyone loaded up in the van I drove them there.

When we got there We all get out of the van and head to the part of the beach where everyone was at

"You prepared for midnight Kie?" I joke again, while walking through the sand, making everyone laugh

"JJ. It's not going to happen" Kie laughs

"I dunno we'll see about that" I say and wink at her

Me, Kie, John b, and Sarah all go to get a drink while pope and Cleo went somewhere.... We never saw them again that night.... My boy got lucky. Proud dad moment.

Anyways, I stopped joking about it a while after we got there so she wouldn't avoid me. I honestly just wanted to hangout with everyone.

11:30 and by then I got pretty buzzed. I didn't want to get crazy drunk yet till after midnight. Normally what I do.

Kie was standing with John b and Sarah so I walked over there with another drink

"Y'all ready for the countdown" John b says

"Hell yea I am" I say in a way to where everyone knows I'm insisting on Kie kissing me again, making everyone laugh.

Kie just looked at me and laughed. The wind lightly blowing threw her hair.

"Nah but in all seriousness.." I began to say "this year sucked. And I'm just ready to put it all behind us"

"Amen" they all say and raise there glasses
