In the morning pt 2

JJ POV:

Sarah and John b eventually went back to there room and so it was just me and Kie

"So, how was it be honest" I tease "is it all you can think about"

"Mm, no, but apparently it's all YOU can think about"  she says accusingly

"Oh yea?" I say, not knowing what she was talking about.

"You really wanna do it again, apparently?" She says cocky

Her saying that.. definitely jogged my memory. Uhh yea kinda forgot about that part... saying that. On the life guard tower. Yea Code red.

I just stood there like and idiot for a couple seconds thinking about and remembering that moment.

"Uh, yea" I say nervously. My plan was not working very well. My stomach started feeling all weird inside. Like I was gonna throw up.

"Well I don't even know what I said tbh I was really drunk" I say trying to act natural. Wasn't my best lying but.. it'll have to do

Kie just laughed it off and didn't say anything else about it. Which made me even more nervous. Was she on to me? Idek there's a lot of confusing feelings happening right now.

KIE POV

ummmm that was definitely weird. He's giving way to many mixed signals right now. I meannn it is JJ and he's never been one to really talk about things like this... so idk maybe he's trying to hide something. Because that was extremely suspicious.

I decided to drop it because he started to get a little nervous. Like maybe he has forgotten somethings. I can't read him.

"I'm hungry, you wanna go to the wreck before they stop selling breakfast?" I asked

"Uhh with what money" JJ asked while leaning on the counter

"I'm sure my dad will hook us up" I say while grabbing my keys "cmon, I'll drive"

"Free food? I'm in" JJ says as he starts to follow me out the door.

We get in the car and I back out of the drive way. On our way to the wreck. I noticed JJ subtly glancing at me every now and just zone out, while fidgeting with his ring. It was kinda weird.

Eventually we got to the wreck. I parked my car out front and I went inside. My hungry best friend following me.

JJs POV

"Kiiaaarrraaa" I hear her dad great her. He sounded really excited to her. Must be nice HAHA

"Hey dad" she's says as he gives her an unwanted hug. "How was last night how was the party" he asks

"It was funnn yea we had a great time" she reply's

His mood immediately changes when he sees I was there.

"Ohh JJ" he says in a fake pleasant manner. People talk to me like that a lot. Like "oh JJ your here? great, please don't touch, burn, or kill anything" HAHA kooks are so funny

"What are you doing here?" Her dad asks, forcing a smile. He absolutely hated me.

I scratch my head and look at Kie, hoping she would answer for me

"Oh uh we just came here hoping maybe there was any food left for breakfast?" She smiled "maybe"

Her dad stood there, still trying to hold the smile

"Yea yea sure thing sweetie" his smile starting to fade as he looked at me "coming right up"

"Thanks dadddd" she says all perky as he walked back into the kitchen

"Can't believe that worked. Ok let's go find a table" Kie says, leading the way. Ofc I follow
