In the again

KIE POV:

I was hanging out with a couple of other friends by the water when I saw JJ on the lifeguard tower.

From this angle he looked so serious. So deep. Like he was really thinking hard about something .

It couldn't still be about the kiss. the kiss was nothing. It meant nothing. There's no way it could even have really meant anything to him

He's kissed tons of girls before. It's not like I was anything special.

I stared at him a little longer, and then made my way toward the tower.

"JJ"? I holler up the ladder when I get there

I climb the ladder and meet him on the balcony.

"What are you doing up here?" I ask as he smiles at me.

He pauses just staring at me and smiling.

"You kissed me." He says again.

"JJ your still on about that?" I laugh.

He laughs and drops his head down to hide his blushing.

He pushes his body up to we're he's not leaning anymore and faces me.

"You kissed me." He says blushing like and idiot while looking down at me.

"Sorry.. I know you were probably just joking." I say sort of doubtful

He laughs and looks at me still. His buzzed eyes going from my eyes to my lips.

"I really want to do that again." He says smiling and confident and hyper

"...what?" I say quiet and confused

I didn't know what was happening

"I really want to do that again" he says like an egar little puppy

"Do what" I say

He paused, still smiling and looking into my eyes.

"..kiss you" he says almost in a whisper.

Okay... now obviously I expect him to make jokes and to always shoot his shot and stuff. Like that's just who he is.

But he seemed.. serious. Like I've never seen him act like this before. Like he was being vulnerable. It was so strange

"I'm sure you do" I say wittily to lighten the situation

"No, Kie, I'm being serious." JJ says loosing his smile a little and his voice getting calm and quiet.

"JJ" I say. I didn't know what to say or what to do. He seemed so serious. So passionate. Is this the same JJ maybank I know?

"Kiss me again." He says quietly and slowly reached down to grabbed both my hands in his.

His eye darting form one eye to the other to my lips and back up.

"JJ. Your drunk." I laugh trying to ease the tension

"I know" he says "kiss me anyway"

And The tension builds right back up.  He was drunk. Definitely not thinking clearly

"Cmon Jay" I say trying to ease the tension again. "I've got something you'd rather do"

He sighs disappointedly but let's go anyways

"Doubt it" he mumbles

JJ POV

Was I dumb for shooting my shot again. Probably. Would it make things weird if we did kiss again. Probably. Did I care? No.

That kiss was just a tease. Like I've always wanted to do things with her but now I know just how bad I really want it. Just to feel her lips again. Man.

But I can't make her want to. So I chill out and back off for a while.

Kie laughs as she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a tiny metal box. I knew exactly what that was.

"Ooo good enough." I say as she handed it to me.

Inside was all my fun little ingredients. I take a seat against The wall and start rolling the blunt. Kie sat down right next to me.

Once I was done I handed it to her and lit it for her while it was in her mouth. So hot btw.

She takes a hit and hands it to me.

"Oh that's good" she says as she blows it out.

I take a hit and lean my head back as I blow the smoke out.

[15 minutes later]

"Hey JJ" Kie said with slurred speech.  We were laying down on the floor by now.

"Mhm" I reply

"I kissed you" Kie said as if she rly processed it

"Yea I know." I said shocked

"Why did I do that" Kie laughed

"I don't know but it was really cool... you should do it again sometime" I chuckle

"No that would be dumb. This was just for the joke" she says higher than the moon. She was kinda a light weight and probably smoked too much. 

"Kie." I said quietly. I get quiet when I'm being serious about things like this. I kinda just don't want anyone else hearing. Idk.
"I actually really liked it" I say

"Yea I know you did" Kie said being funny

"No.. like.. idk it's hard to explain" I say turning my head to her.

"What do you mean" she said, becoming less giggly

"I dunno." I say beginning to smile "I just really liked it"

"You know we can't do that again tho JJ" Kie says while slowly sitting up. I do the same

"I mean.. we could" I say and shrugged my shoulders

"No JJ we really can't. You know that would mess things up." Kie says

"Mess what up?" I ask

"Like, this" she says gesturing to the both of us.

"Or... it would make it better" I suggest

"JJ, no" she laughs "I'm serious"

"I know" I laugh "It probably would just make things weird"

"Yea" she says while staring into my eyes

"Yea" I say quietly as I turn my head towards her and meet her eyes

"Yea" Kie says leaning her head back on the wall

We both look at each other for a while and I couldn't stop looking at her lips....
